So far IMHO the best scene of S2 has to be Qinxiang's meeting with the young monk Jingyuan. It was sincerely written…
Happy 2026 Peach š! This seasonās offering Certainly doesnāt have the level of good writing nor give the sense of suspense. Other than the mysterious āpeacockā who many of hope would be a true surprise, they are all running around in predictable fashion . Whatās with that joker of a king from the enemy kingdomš³š¬? Am frankly watching to pass the timeš
C drama at its best, aTotally āpantsā endingš¤¦āāļø. Still it was entertaining enough and itās the best role that I have seen the FL in. ML was awesome as usual though as everyone has pointed out the character development faded to nothingness. Thanks script writer! š¬
In a way, for me, I guess this also explains why YFS said as long as Huai An was alive, Chang'an will not fall.…
Agreed. But ML did make the time device being used in the caves.š¤·āāļø I am also hoping the last few episodes would demonstrate exactly WHY ML was revered and āfearedā.
i think as the plot has been through XHA's lens throughout , in first part we were all as invested as XHA in revenge…
Do you think ML cared enough about that? Wasnāt he simply doing what he felt he had to do for his own clan? I think what he hadnāt quite realised was just how intertwined the whole situation was. They all felt that YFS was the main player. It was this piece that flummoxed them completely.
Ep. 22 - Once again the drama gods remind me to wait until its all said and drama done. Conversion from Chess…
What is apparent is that every thing is evolving at a rate that ML can no longer fully control. Finishing off YFS didnāt give the satisfaction he hoped for, loosing those he cared about damaged his spirit so much that he slept for 4 days! And now he has the ānationā on his shoulders BUT does he? Tiemo king is relaying heavily on his understanding of them as kids, the disposed king has changed a lot, even if the doc was giving him information about them, it wonāt be the same as spending time with them and ML surely has some hidden agenda, what happened to those that left GY and the ones he ākilledā before going to the city?
I just know we would be left hanging and that would surely be a real shame.

I agree with @phoenix23. I think what we feel/see now is an anxious ML trying to find an opening in his GO game. Until now he was truly able to wiggly out/out fox and manipulate things until the killing of his sibling. But I think this new twist really shocked him. I also think 1 episode per day hasnāt helped the pace.
its hard to like and doubt any side characters they can either die anytime or betray at any moment.š„²
I felt the sisterās death could easily have been dealt with differently. For example, YF could have found another scapegoat and simply captured her since he, YF, seems sad to have had her killed. I didnāt think HZās death was a casual sacrifice, neither of them would have made it out if he didnāt do what he did. I do agree however, that the casualties are piling up and we are only half wayš±
Just finished ep37, GPY you POS. Your parentās relationship was not your cross to bear. You had no right to…
Am actually struggling with the whole ending. Too mismatched, from the parents arc to LQ and even the very end. Such a shame these dramas have a hard time finishing with a flare
