It must be because you started watching the movie with certain expectation in mind? Idk... that might be a possibility. And the movie must have not turned out the way you expected it to?
I understand the hype around this movie and it deserves it all. It holds true to the Oscars it won even though those four statues don't define a gem such as this. This is a movie that's deep in many ways with the darkest of humor one can write. It's engaging and thrilling, but most of all, it spreads a message no one would have expected from it. I suggest all who haven't watched it yet to walk in with no expectations as you're in for a series of life twisting events. It gets better every minute and you'll know it.

I just scrolled down and learned that season two's in the making.... So I'll for sure watch it when it's out. My opinion above is what I felt about the show assuming it ended the way it did.

A much smaller romantic plot than I expected and unlike many people, I have no problem with the ending lol. I'm not curious about what's going to happen for some reason. So I'd do without a season two as well.... I watched this for Jasper Liu and it remained that way until the end. Nothing too great, but not bad either. Tbh, I don't even know what to think of this show... definitely won't rewatch it, but I didn't dislike it in any way either...

The only happy ending I see on this drama is when both Ri Jeong Hyuk and Yoon Se Ri leave their respective lives, forget about everything, and start living in Switzerland playing the piano (that is if Ri Jeong Hyuk is alive after that episode)... apart from that, I don't see how they're going to get the happy ending they deserve...
