But don't you love how he started to know it by episode 3? And dang, according to that preview, he's REALLY going to know it by episode 4! That's where he says to Togawa, "You are the only one who makes me feel glad I am alive." That's tantamount to saying, "I am in love with you," and Togawa knows it. It's why Togawa proceeds to chase him, pin him against a wall, and stick his finger in his mouth. There's a twitter clip where Togawa also plants a kiss on Nozue right then, and it's drop-dead sexy. And if you check out the trailer on Viki, he also says at that point, "I love you Nozue-san. I am crazy about you." My god, it is powerful, and it ALL happens at right that point in episode 4. I want that episode right now!

I wonder what part of ep 5 it'll come. There's a twitter clip that shows them in an alleyway, all happy because Nozue has just confessed and, as you know cuz you read it, that's the final scene in the manga. The sex scene comes in the special chapter, which doesn't take place story-wise until 2 months after they are already dating. I wonder if they'll just move up the sex scene to end this season??? Are you sure it's a sex scene? They could have meant kissing scene. Also, is it in English? Or can I auto translate it? Man, I HOPE it's a sex scene! lol

SEXUAL TENSION

Can we talk about the way they stare into each other's eyes after the massage in the preview? That's some serious sexual tension. They're both wearing the same clothes the next scene where Togawa sticks his finger in Nozue's mouth, so we know that sexual tension got released that same day!

I know! He went from being resigned that life was dull, to that wonderful rollercoaster of tension (sexual), doubt (he thought Togawa never texted him) and, finally, elation (I read the manga, and it's a happy ending). Those are all the things that come with love . We knew Togawa was in love from the get-go, but episode 3 really showed that Nozue finally understands that he's in love too.

Yes, the manga is wonderful. I love how the Japanese are super faithful to source material. The only thing we won't get is the steamy sex scene in the special ep 5. But who needs a sex scene when we got Togawa shoving Nozue against a wall and sticking his finger in Nozue's mouth while Nozue trembles? My god, I felt the heat through the my computer screen! These two actors are amazing.

As for the subs, yes, they mistook that one line, but most of us understood it in context cuz Nozue next says "When can I come to your house to do the housework?" and not the other way around. Also, Viki truly does have the best subs, which is ironic given that the translator's don't even get paid. Gagaloo's are not always the best.

Yep, yep and yep! He is even more on fire in the manga, and cannot keep his hands off Nozue. As you may have guessed, yes, he's the top! lol

I am waiting for Togawa to mount Nozue, stick it in, and say, "Here's your anti-aging therapy!"

It went up to an 8.1 today. Its rating is going up, while the rating for To My Star 2 is going down as people get more frustrated with that show week after week.

Yep, and the show gives that important theme about how it's not too late, as Nozue thought it was. And this is what makes it a smart, complex show as well as a cute show. It hits that sweet spot between cute and complex. Perfection!

It's on youtube too, but there's no eng subs. But it's cool just for the images. Although, it's better to see subs cuz that part where he pushes Nozue against the wall that we saw in the preview is longer, and also has dialogue with Togawa telling Nozue, "I love you. I am crazy about you." God damn, this show is good!!!!

I thought the exact same thing when Nozue typed, "I want to come and see your Jiang Jiang," lol.

3 SIGNS THIS BOY'S GOT IT BAD!

We saw that Togawa was smitten from the get-go, but the beauty of this new episode is how we're seeing that Nozue has fallen under the spell too.

1) He checks his phone constantly for Togawa's texts and feels hurt to find none.

2) He not only stares at his video of Togawa, but is so verily mesmerized by it that he does not even hear Togawa when he calls him.

3) He secretly reads Togawa's texts in bed, and breaks into the most delightful smile on seeing that Togawa left not merely one text, but multiple ones.

I gave a lot of thought to the gender comment, and thought it is justified insofar as men, especially in traditional cultures such as Japan's, put the onus on themselves to be the bigger earners and to be serious about life. In fact, I know American men who still think like this too. Women will not freak out that much about flailing in careers but men will be hard on themselves. I know it should not be this way, but I fear that it is. We just do not hear Western people voice this aloud as much.

I rewound to see that too. Turns out that Togawa had left the door slightly ajar when he left, so he could slip back shortly afterward. I was more confused about why he took the key after he'd gotten back in. Maybe he took it just in case Nozue got worse and needed help. All in all, I LOVE how the big, strong Togawa is being so nurturing and even tucked in Nozue. I love, love, love this couple!

I agree with everything you said. But I also gave it a VERY low rating, while you gave it a 9.5. Why is your rating so high when you not only hate Ji Woo, but want an alternative ending to what we know we're going to get?

After that "boy-talk," we know how Togawa uses all those pix he took of Nozue!

I'm in my late 40's and, like Nazue, technologically impaired. Moreover, I actually find it "offensive" when the younger generation look at their phones rather than at me while I talk to them. I have seen groups of 4-5 gathered socially, where virtually every one of them is glued to a phone rather than engaging with the actual, breathing human being right beside them. I spent 35 years without a phone and I can honestly say that nothing truly important is different in the past 15 years that I have had one. In short, I am not only fine w/Nozue being technologically impaired, but I can relate to it as well.

Guys, I've had it on Viki since 8:00 am USA Eastern Time. It should work.
