Can you spoil it for me what are the unnecessary scenes you're talking about?
Other posts explain it better since there's a lot I already forgot but there are a lot of flashbacks that show her reasons for hiding Umi from her father that just really made me dislike her.
There are beautiful/emotional scenes and then it's messed up with unnecessary Mizuki scenes. I had to drop it. The writer really made questionable choices with the plot when it didn't need to be that complicated .
Personally I disliked the overall message but I still enjoyed Part 1...Part 2 though, especially after watching episode 6, just felt like lazy writing.
People on the internet have been speculating that the current events in the drama are occuring in 2018 or 2019…
Saw a post saying the newspaper Mr. Gu read to Baek was a real article from 2019. Also saw another tweet saying that the writer/pd wanted to show us Mr. Gu's two options. One with Mijeong where he's running with her and one without so we'll have to wait and see which he'll choose😭
The ending of ep10 could be a future/present scene. They talk a lot about the weather and it's starting to get cold which means it'll be fall/winter soon. When Mijeong first told Gu to worship her she said "nothing survives in the winter" bc it feels more lonely but the drama may also have a time jump and show them in the spring? Since there's also the line "Worship me, so that when spring comes, you and I will have become different people". I'm still expecting the moment they'll be apart which breaks my heart. Just need to hope they'll be together at the end
Overall what felt lacking with this drama was Heedo and Yijin's relationship. The slow pacing of their friendship was fine in the beginning and then it went downhill with how rushed their actual relationship was. I'm not the type that always needs a happy ending but the writing for the last episode did feel off
One of the best dramas I have watched this year..has me crying in broad daylight. A good drama to binge watch for those who haven't yet since it's only 12 episodes.
FYI: He was offered Link during middle of Start Up, but his agency said he's too busy rn to review the script.…
Yeah a lot of the DC rumors are hard to follow since it might've been in the early stages and nothing official, although some of them have been true. A lot of the scripts actors receive aren't always announced unless there's a big chance of them accepting
Update: Kim Seon Ho is not confirmed. The last news was that he received the offer but can't give a statement since he was still filming Start Up. There's a chance he declined since he already accepted Mr. Hong which is also a TVN drama. There hasn't been official news about Kim Ji Won either but they might be waiting for Lovestruck in the City to finish to announce
I won't be surprised if people find it uninteresting or end up dropping this drama but I'm still looking forward to seeing the romance start with both couples
