why are the ratings so low (in comparison to some other dramas)... this drama seems so good!! i'm literally waiting…
I think it's because the comedy is too much for some people. I like it, it's different and hilarious. Also you don't have to binge watch this really, the plot itself isn't that captivating, what keeps me going are the characters and their interactions and personalities, the story itself is just means to keep the characters from going off the rails.
i still dont understand why she did what she did , can someone explain it to me?i find it a very weak twist to…
Well according to her she wanted to be treated like a woman at least once in her life, and since he never followed up after a blind date, she didn't think it would get problematic at all, she thought it was a one time thing but he ended up falling in love with the fake Veronica Park.
I really hope Hong Seo Young is not the obsessive 2nd lead again ;( can I just get a Ma Wang Joon and Diana romance…
Well shit, love triangle in the tags.. Yeah I hope Ma Wang Joon just moves over quickly I hate draggy love triangles.. I still won't root for him anywhere in this drama tho after what he did to Dan Dan :(
Why are you judging someone before you've even had a chance to see them in action?
They judged the looks though, I doubt we'll get any better view than when he came out of the box for the first time ;) But yeah kinda a personal opinion.. I think he's good looking and I do agree he's a great actor.
At least this drama is getting somewhat better. Episode 4 for me was an improvement.
How?? The fact that he has the marble now is giving him too much power and it makes me so frustrated. The only way to get it back is by killing him.. Which means he'll either kill himself for some reason or one of the good guys will have to commit murder. This is one of the worst kind of antagonists too, he just makes the viewer feels horrible for no reason, no backstory or anything, he just murders for the hell of it, talks in a funny accent, and somehow has all the tools he needs to kill people after reviving. (unlike our main leads that are struggling)
This was a decent waste of time, since the episodes are only 20minutes long I just watched it on my phone whenever I had some time to spare.
It doesn't do the plot above any justice. Thoughts hearing is completely irrelevant except for 1 or 2 times. His reaction and attempts to figure out the trigger for it is also very cringe. The actors and actresses did great and the FL is pretty cute I hope I can see her playing the main role again but with a better script.
Also, you'd think with such a short show (18 x20mins) they'd progress the romance very efficiently but they wasted a lot of time running in circles then jumbled it all up in the end as if they ran out of time..
Overall 6/10 wouldn't recommend it to my friends because I'd be embarrassed by the fact that I watched the entire thing.
Abyss first episode was just the start though. It did feel a bit boring but I think (or hope) more will happen…
Understandable since they're 2 very different genres. I don't believe that criminal based dramas provide instant satisfaction but rather later when they catch the criminal.
"So far" it's only 1 episode, lol Also I think it's because in Abyss we knew everything that was going to happen from the drama description. But this one was confusing so the first episode felt more exciting. I also like this first episode more than Abyss but I'm sure Abyss will do wayyy better on the road ahead.
This might sound a bit negative, but I find it hard to grade this drama, it's very weird. The first few episodes…
Nothing here feels like it ENDED the drama, none of the actions that happened in the last episode felt like it was what we were waiting for. Was it the daughter hug? Maybe. But it's very awkward that his ex wife started talking to him again once the news about his old report was out, I mean she had a fight with him KNOWING that the doctor was a criminal, she just wanted her daughter saved by a criminal's hands. Was it the Nara CEO? They literally introduced him in the previous episode to catch him in the final one, didn't even feel like a real antagonist, he's all talk and snipers, lost to a simple trick. The prosecutor that imprisoned JSH was more of a threat to them than this evil clown. The talk in the end about honeymoon was also kind of silly, but I got used to dramas having a comedic final scene.
This what I meant by no punchline. Still definitely will watch if they do make a sequel because JSH is so badass.

I'll give the first episode a try cause I'm bored but the plot is indeed very common..
