Title Behind Your Touch Spoiler
I was really looking forward to this drama. I highly enjoyed ep 1 but ep 2 was when I stopped watching. As someone who works with victims and survivors of human trafficking, I didn’t like the fact they added in the scene where her aunt basically sold her off to work in the fish farm for money. That is clearly labor trafficking. The scene happened so fast I questioned if she was dreaming or if it was actually happening. Not only that, but how it was “normalized” in the drama. She was rescued but nobody cared to question why she was there other than to see if she did drugs so that the cops could arrest her. Nonetheless, her relationship remained the same with her aunt. She wasn’t angry or upset with her aunt and her aunt is always “saving the day”. I understand this is supposed to be a fun silly drama but the context was not appropriate in my opinion considering it’s 2023.
