hahahaha I know the feeling. I haven't watched a lot of dramas because of similar reasons. But I enjoyed reply 1997 too. It was boring at times, but funny as hell always! :D

As for me, I can't stand the main actress. I literally banged the back of my head against the wall when I watched Protect the Boss, but I liked the rest of the cast so I kept watching it. From then on, I just dodged anything that had her in it. :D Just that...now I can't because Chan Sung and Joo Won are acting with her :/

hahahahahhahah I think you are the first one to say that Joo Won is irritating. You haven't watched "Gaksital" aka Bridal Mask, have you? Or "Ojakgyo Brothers"?

Well, she kinda admitted that she used him to the very end. Although you are right on point, to be honest, that's reality. If you are pushed against the wall, you'll end up using everything around you. It's not likely that you'd give up everything for love and live in poverty. In other dramas, the heroine is always a 'mother Teresa'. Such people rarely exist and if they do it's because they have something in their background they can lean on (or are perfectly happy living poor lives)

Some of us are just not into her that much. But, I agree with you. The drama is awesome so far! :D

To be honest, I disliked the actress long before this drama. MY reasons are a bit superficial(I am not about to deny the truth!), but they are more related to her acting abilities. I can see that she tries hard, but I just cannot stomach her.
Another reason why I didn't want her staring in this drama was the age gap between her and Joo Won. The fact that Joo Won himself recommended her does not change my opinion. I wouldn't mind that age gap if in the drama she played a role close to her age. I really hate women trying to look/act a lot younger than they are. I'd be completely in love with the drama if it weren't for Choi Kang Hee.
Apart from all that, I really like the drama so far. Plus, Chan Sung is acting! yaaay <3

Crime dramas/ movies are always the best. I want to watch Thieves, but last time I checked the quality and subtitles sucked on dramacrazy. I'll check it these days again. I hear it's a good one. Something like Ocean's 12.

I really liked the drama. It's definitely one of my favorites. I just liked how reality was exactly portrayed. I was not really okay with Moon Geun Young - she personally bugged me, but I still liked her character. One can really relate. :)

btw, Nich Khun's japanese movie, Ouran Host Club is up on drama crazy! I'm watching it tonight! :D
