How is this show not recommended at all. The show starts off very fast paced and I enjoyed it so much. It has…
This show really is a masterpiece. Can’t believe I’ve never watched it before. I loved the story. The high moral standards is what made me love it the most. I wasn’t expecting that I’ll find a show like this anymore. They don’t make them like that anymore.
Why is no one talking about the music? This drama has one of the best soundtracks. It makes every scene more dramatic. Without it this drama wouldn't work.
I have mixed emotions about this drama. So many things were great. The quality, production, CGI, colours, cast,…
Imo the way this drama was written, it should've had a closed ending with Yoon Chae Ok living happily ever after with Jang Tae Sang. And the whole sci-fi thing (monsters, lab, parasites and liquid potions) should've also been destroyed in the fire so that the world could return back to normal and be historically acurate.
So many things were great. The quality, production, CGI, colours, cast, acting. The love story was generally wholesome. The whole idea of the plot was good. I really was invested in the story and had a great time watching this show. I was surprised how perfect this show seemed to be.Until...
The last episode. The whole secend part of this episode was so weird. The ending didn's suite the story, it was dragged for too long. In the last few episodes there were new informations given that weren't at all explained. The story just got messier and ultimately I realized that some characteres lacked depth or their behevior did't suit the way they were written. I was left with this empty feeling, wondering if I just waisted my time watching this drama.
I have this rule of dividing kdramas into two categories. Netflix kdramas and Korean kdramas. - Netlix kdramas - typical western netlix production with just Korean cast and elements of kdrama - Korean kdramas - good old typical kdramas that we all love (they dont't have to be old ;)) I think it's rather obvious which ones I prefer and this one was definitely a netflix kdrama.
im still confused about the maeda/seishin backstory???
It was poorely explained. Imo the last episode was all over the place and I was really disappionted at how they just added unnecesary new threads to the plot at the end of the show without explaining them well.
In retrospect this drama is actually ONE OF JCW'S BEST DRAMAS, and got WAY to much hate for its second half.Even…
I agree with you. If they just gave the role of Anna to a different actress it could’ve changed the whole outcome. I mean, everyone would be happy if they teamed up Ji Chang Wook with Park Min Young like they did in Healer.
I actually rooted for Yoo Jin. Her brother and stepmother, even her husband are out to get her, like hyenas.I…
I felt the same way about Anna, Je Ha and Yoo Jin. Nevertheless, I still love this drama. Somehow, despite all it faults, I really enjoyed watching it. Finally I found another drama, besides Healer, with amazing ML for Ji Chang Wook.
The last scenes with her being all free and "bad ass" in the cemetery like every other millionth drama were quite…
Yes, I think she should either be portrayed as a monster/be incarcerated, or better, die with Choi Moo Jin as you said. The other option would be happy ending with her turning away from hate and revenge, but I think this wasn’t the point of this show. And now I feel like no solid conclusion came out of the ending.
Pildo dying in the last episode after they just started dating was unnecessary...The story should have gone by…
Im glad someone tagged this comment as a spoiler. Right now I’m a bit angry and a bit thankful. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to watch the show and thanks to this comment I’ve been intrigued and watched it. But the whole time I was waiting for it to happen and it kinda ruined the finale for me. So please don’t spoil it for anyone else.
last episode was so disappointing..rushed romance so he can be sacrificed as the one guy who can understand her…
Thought the same. I can understand why they killed him off (though it was forced just to justify her killing Choi), but sleeping together was just unnecessary. They went from nothing to everything in just half episode.
