What Im most mad about is how they ruined Sieun character, didnt respect Class 1 or webtoon Sieun at all. The credits scene from Class 1 (Donald Na with tattooed hand checking Sieun's picture at Eunjang because he defeated the UFC who he had scouted) would have made a better way to connect Sieun to the union than the rushed mess they wrote. Also making Sieun, who didn't lose a single fight on the whole webtoon except Donal Na, a weakling who spends half of the show being sad about Suho... on the webtoon he promised himself he would never lose again because of what happened and here they show him without any will. It would even make more sense for the Sieun we saw on class 1 to grow stronger so he wouldn't fail to protect his friends again and that would put him on the same place and webtoon Sieun on chapter 1. Don't have any complain with Jihoon acting, but his character writing...

They ruined Sieun character here. On the webtoon he was someone weak, but who bc of a traumatic event (what would be Class 1) he learned how to fight and he never lost a fight on the whole webtoon besides Na Baek Jin. He was scared to fight, he had a weak body frame, but he studied how to fight and used his brain to beat strong oponents. On this season they kinda made him a loser, the bully from ep 1 is a mix of 2 webtoon characters, the bully from his class and a guy who was all mouth but wanted to join the union. The bully from his class was easily beaten by Sieun on chapter 1, same scene as would be the last scene of class 1 if they didnt decide to discard with "teacher arrived and nothing happened". That Sieun didnt even defeat this guy properly was so disappointing, doesnt feel like the same character from Class 1.

They changed the order of ending scenes (meeting Suho should be after funeral) and added the Wolf scene. Maybe theyre thinking of S3 vs the gang who was behind Donald.
I watched season 1 then read the manga, but season 1 was really good, but In season 2 they took only characters…
I feel the same way as you. I actually think the fight vs the UFC guy on Class 1 gives better the feeling of the fight against Wolf on webtoon. Traumatized Sieun (bc of the roof on the webtoon) snaps and manages to defeat an opponent who is way stronger than him
So excited for this. Seems like they made changes from the webtoon and Class 1 Eunjang intro. Colton character has more importance and Donald doesn't have the tattoos on his hands that we saw on credits scene. Hope that they manage to keep Class 1 level, even if they changed the story from webtoon a lot. The actor playing Wolf really gives the same vibe as him.

Uniform is different than after transfering on Class 1, maybe the scene where the bully from the class tried to pick on him is gone as well, which was the 1st chapter of the webtoon. The fight on the teaser is vs Wolf from webtoon, which is a kinda advanced chapter, so I wouldn't be surprised if they made their own new version of the story. Class 1 was just a ~10 chapters flashback from the webtoon which they completely changed and made a great drama out of it, so wouldn't mind if they can deliver same quality.
