One word to describe Ji Ho - SELFISH
Selfish isn´t even the word for this.
I mean if you leave someone with the purpose of coming back and you actually have a plan with your departure... well, let´s just put it like this, considering she was willing to let him suffer in the belief that she´d left him for good (when she intended to come back to him), it´s not just selfishness, it´s actually manipulation.
I am not really fond of such tactics. That being said.. a lot of people manipulate when it comes to love to get some desired result. Some would say the end justifies the means, as in a positive outcome justifies the method Ji Ho used to to reach it.

Gawd Ji Ho talked a lot on this episode... so what is your fckn point, gurl? Why do u have to separate? one way…
I´ll admit there was a lot said by Ji Ho in this episode, so much so that she even confused me to be honest. I feel like I need to rewatch the episode to get a better understanding of it all. There´s a lot of things in this episode that need some analyzing, perhaps too many.

But I guess it´s a combination of all things together? Him not being expressive in general, maybe she´s worried that is what their marriage would be like.. maybe she wants him to bare his soul to her. Also, I was kind of surprised by her reaction to hearing from Soo-Ji how he wanted to propose a real marriage. I mean I expected at least a little bit of happiness at hearing that, because such a suggestion would imply him having feels for her.

But my whole take on it is that I don´t think she really wanted to leave, she asked him "is there anything that you want to say?" (she just needed to add "to make me stay", because that is what she really wanted).

Anyway, I hope that the writers will tie this up neatly in the next (and last) episode.

I totally agree too, it did not make sense especially when they were starting to get close, what was the point…
I don´t feel like it´s an honest break-up, if you know what I mean.
Ji Ho threw the bait to Se Hee, asking if there is anything he wants to say. In my opinion, that´s usually something you do when you are leaving but actually want to stay. You just want the other person to persuade you into staying. But I think Se Hee was too wrapped up in thinking he had to be selfless and respect her choice.. also I think he was not brave enough to try to win her over by saying what he actually feels. He may think he has missed his opportunity and that it´s too late..

Title Oh My Venus
Great chemistry between the main characters. I loved everything about this drama except the scenes involving Jang Yi Jin. She was an unlikeable character due to her annoying and desperate nature.

I just caught up to episode 14 and I just don't get it. I don't understand what Ji Ho wants from Se Hee. Why is…
I don´t think Ji Ho is mad, she just seems sad to me. There are a lot of things going on here.

One of the things is that, I think this has to do with what the ex-gf said.. we always hear how "actions speak louder than words", however that doesn´t mean one shouldn´t utter words.. because words have some power as well (which we´ve already learned in this drama) . Se Hee´s feelings for Ji Ho got deeper after Ji Ho´s words in Namhae. That was the turning point for him. That was when he became determined to give love and happiness another chance. Ji Ho however doesn´t perhaps know what is going on inside of Se Hee and where he is emotionally right now, she only remembers how he expressed that he wanted life to stay the same.. and now his ex-gf has resurfaced and there is such a painful story there. We saw that she started pulling away from Se Hee as soon as Ko Jung Min appeared in the picture (not wanting to sleep with him), so this turn of events is not entirely surprising.

Ji Ho is new to love, and like she said, she had experienced the amazing fluttering feelings about love, but now also the pain that goes along with being in love. Maybe it´s hard for her to process all of this, her new love having been with someone he loved so much and having lost a child.. also remember it´s a painful story Se Hee himself hasn´t even told her about, but which she found out through a note in a book and through meeting his ex-gf by chance. I think she would have preferred that he himself opened up to her about this, that he showed her that amount of trust and vulnerability. Then there´s also the question from Se Hee´s father about when they are going to have a baby. Maybe that question got her back to reality again, reminding Ji Ho how their marriage is not one out of love and has an "expiration date", that there most likely will never be any children. So the entire situation probably feels hopeless to her.

Or maybe her suggestion to file for divorce is something entirely different... an optimistic thought.. perhaps she just wants to suggest to have a real marriage and dissolve the contract? Who knows, this can go in more than one direction. I can barely wait till tomorrow.

PS: Sorry for the long post.

This show is the kind of show that slowly but surely wins you over.
I´ve attempted to watch other Korean dramas while waiting for new episodes of BTIMFL, but it´s just not the same and I get quickly bored of them. The story in itself is perhaps a simple story, yet the thoughts/reflections and dialogues, the surprisingly realistic parts of it, the small actions which make the characters so lovable, all this is what makes it so special to me..
I can´t believe that there are only two episodes left, I will truly miss this show.
