Yep! So far it's been mostly Seattle with at least one Bellevue shot but I'm still only halfway thru the 2nd episode. But all the street shots and building exteriors are Taiwan

That's what I'm thinking too but all the street shots are still obviously Taiwan? So they can only pretend to a certain extent. I'm so curious! I expect to see Vancouver mentioned/background shots because we have a stronger Chinese presence here (ironically, it's where I live now) but Seattle and Bellevue are such random choices kinda!

Does anyone know why they're using Seattle and Bellevue as background city skyline shots? It's absolutely killing me to see where I grew up in an ABO C-drama 😹

My theory is it's simply to show a city that's obviously in China while not being/showing an actual existing city in China--a "X City". But I'm wondering if anyone knows any lore beyond that!

Thank you, I was having the same concerns but I'm glad her infantileness in the first episodes gives her room to mature later. But damn infantile FML is the worst 😭
