Plus it's a historical drama--even if they are actual cousins, if you're viewing the relationship thru a modern lense then you might as well view everything thru a modern lense and then what's the point? (Besides other cultures today still having cousin marriages, which personally I judge my own country sometimes having cousin marriage but I'm not going to judge other countries and cultures for it)

I loved it š Li Jianwei looks soo handsome with a soft smile in the last episode. Chen Xiaoxi was such an amazing character throughout and I'm looking forward to seeing Dong Zi Fan in other things! The costumes were really nice and the choreography was pretty good. The music was nice too. Just a nice, addictive series but I could always use more eps for more storylines and to flesh out the plot
I've seen Dashing Youth but haven't watched Blood of Youth yet (I have so much on my plan to watch already) and I'm not sure of the timeline for this series. Does this one take place after TBoY, or before DY? I'm trying to gauge if I should watch TBoY before this comes out or if I'll be able to pick up the gist without it š

Well there's a special 5 mins or so š¹ I don't remember where I saw it but look up episode 34.5 or special ending episode and you should find it. (Idk why these secret extra endings are called special episodes when they're only a few mins long? Word of Honor had one too)
