Then Hwal and sangun will go back to being the original Bulgasal pair and they can decide if they both want to die together to end the Bulgasal curse or not.
It also makes sense this way why Sangun and Eultae are connected. She is carrying his soul. And I guess that’s why Eultae is so desperate to kill sangun cos he can never truly become a full Bulgasal if his soul is still wandering around. And that’s also probably why Eultae tried to kill Hwal 600years ago when Sangun saved him and passed on the cursed soul to herself instead 😶
