I loved SITR, OSN & MRIH. They were very intense, passionate, dramas with an ability to heighten the feel of everything to somehow make it hyper-real. That is, seemingly real-life yet imbued with passion and romance. He also tackled issues like sexual abuse in the workplace. I must search out more of his work. RIP, sir!

I don't know anything about Korean history in WW2. But I understand that the Japanese commited war crimes. I believe it. But in the West some of us are concerned about the perpetual guilt being visited on the succeeding generations of germans whose grandfathers fought in the war. Not to put to fine a point on it we don't care about these guilt trips used as weapons against the German people, and now more generally towards Europeans and the West as a whole. To which I mean white people. Everyone is a nazi now. Well, they've devalued the currency of outrage and sympathy by doing so. Beware of those who use outrage to perpetuate outrage.
