Title Silent Truth Spoiler
Oh my gosh! Now I think someone (probably that old cop who's always watering the flowers) might have swapped the gun, and it was his that the kids took. When Junichi found the dead cop and fired at the robber, maybe someone else fired at the same time under the bridge. Junichi was shocked and ran away after a moment. It took a while for everyone to return to the scene and Keisuke to retrieve the gun. Enough time to swap the guns, because why is this crazy cop so sure Junichi didn't kill him and that the gun will confirm it? It's strange that they say it's the same gun, so how could that rule him out if it's true?

Title Silent Truth Spoiler
Everyone has focused more on who killed Naoto's brother, completely forgetting that 30 million yen were stolen in a robbery 20 years ago, which still hasn't been found. In flashbacks, we see that the thief had a bag on him when Junichi pointed the gun at him. If there was no accomplice, it's most reasonable to assume that the money was taken by someone who was quickly present at the crime scene, meaning one of the officers involved in the raid. This old officer wasn't yet Chief at the time, but we know he was there. Considering how often he's shown on screen, he seems to be the most likely suspect at this point... Plus, I get this strange vibe every time they show him. There are still three episodes left, so we'll see... I still have the impression that Makiko might have been sexually assaulted, or offered sex by Naoto's brother for not reporting her son's case... I thought so after that flashback scene where Makiko met Naoto when they were in high school and his brother lifted her skirts and made crude comments. Whoever shot him in the supermarket that day, whether it was Maikiko herself or her son, Naoto probably witnessed it again, which is why he buried the gun and took the blame because he felt somewhat responsible.

So, who took the stolen 30 million yen that the robber who was shot in the forest had with him? Any guesses?
