Why they release in 50 episodes,How the drama until now?, I'm not started yet., I want to know worth of 50 hrsAnyone…
Opposite opinion - I actually like it!
It's 50 episodes because it is a 'weekender family drama'. I tend to avoid these kind of dramas because they are way too long and very makjang. I have started and dropped a few like The Real Has Come and Young Lady and a Gentleman and really enjoyed a couple of others like My Father is Strange and When the Camillia Blooms.
22 episodes in for this one and I find myself really looking forward to the next episodes. Yes there are many very annoying and over the top characters, which is common for these dramas, but I just forward ⏩️ their scenes and stick to watching the main characters (ML and FL have so much chemistry and their story/relationship is really interesting), the FLs brothers, the MLs auntie and to some extent Ma ri (but she has become annoying last couple of episodes). The main story/plot is fast paced imo and I'm actually finding that I'm fast forwarding less and less as the episodes progress and I get more invested in some of the side plots.
That being said there are another 28 episodes to go, so who knows if it derails at some point. For now I am really enjoying it!
I'm still waiting on the subs for episode 22, but at the end of 21 I screamed at the TV a little. Here she is…
I think Do Ra is displaying alot more backbone as Ji Young than she did as DR. She is alot more outspoken standing up for herself and tough when she needs to be and really hasn't let anyone take advantage of her so far. She is being nice to the SML because he hasn't shown his true colours yet and she feels she needs to repay her 'debt' to him (the spoilt jacket).
It seems like PS rejected MR once again in today's episode, but then I saw a preview that she'll sneak into his…
Her mother needs to stop hiding the fact that she's PS's biological mother! She needs to stop worrying about her 'shame' or whatever being revealed and put her childrens well-being first before it gets out of hand. Hopefully MR hiding in his room doesn’t create a 'scandal' where everyone (except the bio mum) insists he needs to marry her. Hope this gets sorted asap cause it's the most ick part of this otherwise enjoyable drama.
Why did the taxi driver who was in prison for 14 yrs came in such a fancy car? Like bro got released a few days…
I don't think they show us the taxi drivers car. The first car we saw in front of Im Sols house with number plates 355 Ro 2653 was Taesungs? (Question mark is because we see the back of someone in a cap exit it, then it's Taesung that turns around when the security guy approaches, but was he the same guy who exited the car?)
The second car in the parking lot was some random guy with a black cap which triggered Im Sol into imagining it was the taxi driver.
Makes me wonder what is going to happen to cause ML to change his name and how he and Do Ra lose with each other…
Ah yes, i did start watching this drama, skipped alot of the middle episodes then watched the last couple of episodes. You were referring to the mother, I thought you meant the FL. I also hated the mom in TRHC, she started off so nice then became unbearable.
Ma'am, you know how much times in History that must have happened, in different kingdoms?! That wasn't taken from…
Making comments are allowed. Claiming a scene was plagiarised (that's what copied means) from another drama is not. As someone else commented, umbrella scenes, wrist grabbing, cherry blossom trees, jumping of cliffs, kissing under water are all common in many dramas, are they plagarising each other? Maids standing outside the queens chamber happened in that time period, this vindictive queen making Kyera stand outside makes sense in this drama. Claiming the writers plagarised this scene is a very SERIOUS and incorrect accusation and people have pointed this out to you.
is this only 1 episode per week? why didn't the 2nd episode come out after the first? isn't it monday, tuesday…
2 episodes per week. Mon/Tues. Just happened that first week it aired Monday fell on the 1st day of the year and therefore it didnt air. Mon/Tues from here on in.
FL apparently lost a lot of weight for her role in this drama, idk I don't mean to feel how I feel cuz in a way…
His character in the webtoon is an awkward nerdy introvert when it comes to expressinghis feelings to the person he likes. That's why he comes across so stiff in his interactions. There are also reasons why he focuses on the FL and saves her constantly. Don't let it turn you off. Hopefully he will loosen up as the drama progresses.
Yet another drama where the ML lives, dies and exists only for the FL.This drama is not for me, very clearly. It…
I know what you mean about ML basically existing for FL. It is annoying. However in this drama there is a very good reason he is focussing on her. It will come out later, and it makes complete sense why he does it.
I really enjoyed watching this. The reincarnation storyline was done so well! Flashbacks to the Silla past beautifully done and were the best part for me, like watching two romances running parallel to each other, both past and present. Unlike other dramas where you only see bits and pieces and pretty much the same scenes of their past lives, we really get a full picture of what transpired in the past. Like I said, it was like watching two stories in one. The pacing was great, the angst was real and my tears flowed in the last two episodes. And they really landed the ending well as far as I'm concerned. They tied up all the characters storylines well. No cliches, bittersweet yet satisfying. It felt realistic and I smiled through my tears.
Was it perfect? No Was it a good watch that I looked forward to every week? Yes
From episode 2 to 6, KYD consistently displayed only one constipated angry expression 🤢🤢 on his face, whether…
For someone complaining about negativity in the show your original comment and subsequent replies to others reak of negativity. Maybe accepting that some ppl don't agree with your take on the show without attacking them with further negativity and insults would be less hypocritical.
As far as the MLs acting is concerned imo he's doing a great job expressing how a vengeful 1500 yr old spirit or a depressed, guilt ridden, suicidal Silla general would feel. When you feel depressed and dead inside, for whatever reason, that is what your face looks like and of course you come across as negative. KYDs microexpressions and his eyes do all the acting in those scenes. As far as the romantic scenes are concerned, so far we've seen him struggling with falling in love with someone he felt extremely guilty towards in the past who he thinks hates him and wants to kill him, and again in the future with someone who he believes he hates and wants to kill. He is not going to look all lovey dovey and sweet in those curcumstances. In episode 1, when he was acting as Han Joon Oh his expressions and acting were completely different.
This drama became one of my fav drama..🤧 So emotionalCan anyone recommend good dramas like this one?? I havent…
Someday or One Day, a taiwanese drama, is another beautiful bittersweet love story. Still sits as my all time favourite contemporary asian drama.
Normally the historical dramas are the ones make me the most emotional, especially when they have a great combination of a fantastic OST, cinematography and bittersweet love story. Some of my favourites: Goodbye my Princess, The Kings Woman, The Red Sleeve, Scarlett Heart (both chinese and korean versions) and Story of Yanxi Palace.
Does Grand Prince Seongnam actually know the Grand Prince Gyeseong's secret? I want to believe that he does but…
Yes it's implied a number of times. In earlier episodes he dusts off what is probably makeup from Prince Gyeseongs clothes. He also asks the Queen in episode 4 whether she started the fire to protect PG, so he knew about Prince Gyeseongs makeup hideout.
