I read the novel before starting the drama and I absolutely loved it! Couldn't put it down. Prayed that the drama stuck as close to the novel as possible and my prayers were answered. All the scenes and script hardly deviate from the novel and are practically as I envisioned them while reading it. This doesn't happen often so I am soooo stoked! Also the acting all round has been phenomenal! Cannot wait to watch the remaining episodes!!

In this case it's because he thinks they have divination abilities. He is seducing them to keep them on his side and use their 'gift' to his advantage. Hating the emperor as much as he does he probably also gets alot of satisfaction taking whats''belongs' to him(emperor) for himself, esp Wanyin.

I cried so much during this scene, even though he deserved what he got for all his evil acts, I still felt so much sympathy for him. Amazing acting.

Exactly. That comment made me think that she just wanted to have a pre marital romantic fling b4 she entered into a loveless marriage. She used and betrayed SDJ. She lied to him about her identity, led him on until the very morning of her wedding and then dumped him in the most ruthless way. I don't give a damn about her possible revenge plans. They don’t justify the way she went around doing things and how she treated SDJ. She is selfish, and it's still all about herself and her own feelings, no one elses. Hope she ends up by herself, she doesn’t deserve the loyalty and undying love that the writers are insistent in giving her from SDJ.

How stupid is she carrying that phone around, the first time when her stepfather walked into her bedroom and she was so obvious when hiding it behind her back and then leaving it on her bed when her husband was in the room 🙄 Her stepfather seeing her holding it was what lead to her being followed to Dong Ju and him nearly being murdered.

I really dislike her character and so far the only motives they've shown us to her actions are getting shares/power to possibly seek revenge for her father. But why use/drag innocent people into it? Why start a relationship with Dong Ju and then leave him the way she did? Although we know her husband is an asshole, if this was not some contract/marriage of convenience on his side why cheat on him with Dong Ju up until the VERY MORNING of the wedding? Even if we are shown that she had some contract/agreement with husband regarding the marriage again I ask, why lead Dong Ju on and betray him like that right down to the last minute? You don't do that to someone you love!
I really think she just wanted a romantic fling before her loveless marriage and didn't expect to fall for him. She basically used him and her actions so far have been cowardly and selfish.

I have absolutely no sympathy for her and I really don’t know what kind of plot twist would convince me otherwise.

The name he remembered may be his real name and the name he goes by now is an alias hiding something from his past. The Chairmans secretary/personal maid definitely reacted to it when she heard the mum and husband talking about the phone call.

We're not sure if she's made a move with the vault or not. They may not have shown it as yet to the viewer's. We'll find out along with everyone else when it is finally opened and it's empty? She would be very stupid not to have gone straight to the vault given that she took the pink note, thus alerting the Chairman that someone knows the combination, rather than just taking a picture of it and leaving it there.

I'm glad that you're rating the drama based on its merits rather than your opinion of the ML. Honestly I'm not even a fan of the actor. I'm also watching because of SHS.
However whether or not he is guilty and got away with it is not something anyone who was not related to the case can be 💯 sure about and some ppl are screaming in full caps mode in the comments here as if it's beyond doubt.

Yes, I agree there are certainly many instances where what you've said happen.

But to assume it's happened in this case unequivocally without having the full transcripts of the case, questions and answers (how they were posed and the answers in context to those questions). Saying the judge 'apparently' said this or that and the actor admitted to this or that, you are just repeating what the media has released. That's just not right, because the media can word things out of context for max impact.

There has been way too much trial by media and k-netz destroying peoples lives.

So unless you have seen the actual official court transcripts, evidence and testimonies of all parties then to accuse this actor of rape with 💯 certainty and to attack every drama he is in, which affects so many more ppl involved in those dramas, is absolutely wrong.

The accuser was found guilty of false accusations in a court of law after all the testimonies and evidence were considered and she was sentenced to 8 months suspended sentence.

So unless you were in that room and saw what exactly happened or have more information than what the police and court had, maybe you and
everyone else
with your lynch
mob mentality,

I think the crown prince castrated him and all the other Su men and they all comitted committed, except for SRQ who stayed alive to take revenge.

I'm with you! I've just been lurking in the comments last couple of episodes and will probably only start watching again once DoRa gets her memories back. That's as long as when she does get them back she goes all nuclear against those that have harmed and used her.

The grandmother is absolutely one of the worst alongside Do Ras mother and Jin Dan.

How pathetic and hypocritical of her to carry on about her daughter loving and potentially supporting a 'penniless' man. She and her useless son, who has put the family into debt, has been supported by her daughter-in-law and Pil Sung, the son she likes to constantly point out is 'adopted'. Absolutely loathe her and I would have thrown a money hungry ungrateful mother-in-law like that onto the streets a long time ago.

The best karma so far was when the FLs mother went to jail and got beaten up by the other inmates. I don't enjoy violence, but boy did I jump up and cheer when that happened. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have knocked any sense into her. She is beyond redeemable.
