Oh my God yessss especially when they just jump to conclusions x.x relationship are built on dialogueeee xD this…
That was all of You Are My Destiny. It took him so long to tell her why he was treating her thecway he wss when she first arrived. When he finally said something I was like fool why didn't you say this in the beginning then you would have known she had no part in her brother law and his fathers scheme.
If he would have talked with Cun Xi about the divorce agreement she woukd have been able to see through that abortion agreement. If he wouldn't have been talking about that none of that would have gone down.
I always feel like is like a darker suspenseful version of Goong without.the royal family. The dad married the first love and had an affair with another woman.(the queen in the original) A.creepier Yul and a confirmed baby.
I sometimes feel You Are My Destiny was an au of Going without royalty. You got the grandma, Yul, Hyo-rins ballet twin. She even ditches him for ballet. There's also adivisor guy in Anson.
FIRST OF ALL, HOW HOW HOW can you NOT have the main couple getting pregnant again in the ending?!!?!?! That is…
I actually liked the part of her thinkimg she might be infertile. You get to see how much Cun Xi loved her even if she might not be able to have a child.
It's something I wished the Korean version would have kept.
The girl got hit by a car. The ending just assumes she might be able to concieve.

I guess its because I watches them on Netflix. They have a tendency to lengthen out Taiwanese and Chinese dramas by halcing the episodes. I totally forgot it was 16 eps.
To me, Dylan was the best part of this drama.... I had 2nd lead syndrome in a terrible way... still do.... .....…
I loved the pregnant sister in both versions. One was more mocking, but you knew she loved her sister. Same with the K version sister. I also.loved the other older sister in this version the Kdrsma version felt like a prop.
Loved both moms. Loved how the mom acknowledged that she was the more neglected one, but I think she came around when they werent doing well. So she could get.the same attention or new clothes like the older 2. She had a baby while working and went right back to.working right after. Not very uncommon in some parts. Was common in the U.S. not thst long ago too.
I think keeping Sera away longer is what helped Gun move on and later tell Sera hst Mi-Young is his wife.
Daniels proposal scene was beautiful though.
I just can't totally feel bad for her. Maybe a little. But how many times will you stand a guy up before he says enough is enough?
Just to avoid confusion for some people- this is currently on Netflix, and has more episodes than the 24 it lists…
Netflix does this. They halve the Taiwanese and Chinese dramas from their original length, but not rhe Korean dramas. I have no idea why.
And I wish they would do away with that 24 ep edit of Diamond Lover and keep the original version. So what the 2nd lead gets the girl the ML character sucked and this someone whoves the hell out of Rain. Not.just in music but in most of his roles. I know they couldn't book him after the 40 ep when ot was extended to 20 more, but even then I wouldn't have wanted her getting with him.
Loved both versions but the love I have for this one cannot be compared ❤
I think this portrsys the healimg process of a breakup/heartbreak when that healimg process is interrupted. Anna came back way earlier than Sera in the Korean remake.
It takes 3-4 months to heal from heartbreak (though it's not that simple) Sera stayed away 4 months vs. Anna with 2 while Cun Xi had really had time to really heal.
Think of the no contact rule for 8 weeks when a boyfriend/girlfriend dumps a guy or girl or if you are dating someone and they ghost you before it becomes official. Let's say that person comes back within that 2 month period. There is a high chance the dumpee may get back with the person as the haven't really healed. Let's say the person instead comes back in 3-4 months maybe more giving thst person time to get over the person and move on. Now if it would have been like Murphy's Law of Love.even though he wasn't completely over it the ML didn't try to get back with the 2nd lead. He just pushed hilmself harder to stay with the FL lead who he was in love with. His issues stemmed from his issues with his mother like Anna with hers. But the stages of grief they were in made it possible for him to be in love with someone else and not.be in denial about it.
They also kept in contact vs the Korean remake where she basically ghosted him. Now I think they did have some contact, but near as much in this version or the current Chinese version.
Gun was able to get over her and move on quicker acknowledge his love for Mi-Young. He felt guilt and was grieving for what he lost with Sers, but other than that he had moved on.
I watched the Kdrama version 1st, even though I knew about the Tai version 1st. The Tai version just wasn't as…
I love Both versions especially the original. The original is way better at showing how crazy the healing process is after being heart broken. He couldn't move on really because Anna came back way sooner than Sers in the remake. Not only that Sera ghosted him with no contact and came back out of no where. At least to Gun. Cun Xi contacted Anna up.until her accident. I love the Korean version for thst. It made Gun realize thst he moved on and loved his wife even though he was confused about his guilt for Sera
It's over the top but at the same time unrealistically realistic. I can't lie I wanted to slap the male lead when he told Anna she was the only one he loved. It had me wondering if he loved Xin Xi. When he started crying I realized he was in love with Xin Xi and felt guilt for it and only stayed with Anna because of that. Anna also popped back up 2 months or so. It takes 3-4 months to heal from a breskup. Even though it wasn't technically a breakup the emotions are the same. He was all over the place because he hadn't really healed yet. I think he had fallen in love with Xin Xi well before the birthday scene at the Ritz
Tbh I think he’s pretty nice. I watched the Korean version and the male lead was ruthless lol. And yes he’ll…
In the defense of the Taiwanese and Korean version he thought he was he was set up by the people of the island and she was in on the scam the while time until he realized she really didn't know anything
True. But keep in mind she always seems to chose her career over him. She couldn’t even take 2 minutes to write…
In the original she only came back because of her accident and wanted to.come back because of him accidentally hanging up on her. The fact that her foot injury would take 6 months to heal and she just happened to decide to stay with him for6 months says alot. After that she would have left him if another company was willing.to take her on. Had there been no injury she would have still been away from him for those 2 years
If he would have talked with Cun Xi about the divorce agreement she woukd have been able to see through that abortion agreement. If he wouldn't have been talking about that none of that would have gone down.
Autumns Concerto is another one.

Just think if this was reversed and Anna was the first lead only to become the 2nd lead in a sequel
It's something I wished the Korean version would have kept.
