Is that why there are way too many scenes of her....I actually wish there was a DVD cut where they slash out lots of her and her family members' plotting scenes. It's really what dragged this drama down.

I keep hearing/seeing this on the media. Story is that they were going out around the time of filming. Apparently there were footages of BL having stayed over at ZLH's house a few times. But it didn't last and now there is this slight "distancing" feeling between them when they share a frame.

Coincidentally, both BL dramas that wrapped up this week had a SE and both included a wedding. 😂

Haha. I did in my review. I loved the ending. The way he "disciplines" his son because of his own personal jealousy 😂 and it is so cute the way he show bias towards his daughter. I wished they did like an extra episode of just their family fluff.

If my memory serves me right, the novel and drama do not explicitly state it, but most readers/viewers read between the lines. I personally think that the novel suggests that he did rape her and stayed in her palace night after night. Hence XW gave her the knife. The drama shows that YL forced himself upon her and makes mention through JXN's words that he was "really bad" towards her, leaving it up to viewers' interpretations.

I think BL actually says, what if your bright lights shine on me (or shine past me). Director then replies with the English equivalent of, "Shine past you my arse. " Given this is the same director who filmed SoKP and we've all been hating the unnecessary and scene stealing lighting, I think it's a humorous response to all the criticism and complaining 😂

Anyone else skipping till when they get back together? I jumped to episode 34 and was like...wow...when did we go from zero to one hundred 😂

Way too much. This drama needed a better editor.

I do prefer romance. But I guess if the storyline is captivating enough, it's not an essential ingredient.

That preview of episode 31 better be somewhere at the start and not the end...just get back together already 😑
