I like the deceptive plot. So instead of sending two Wufeng girls, one to die in order to cover the other, they sent three. I find it odd that the Gong family, as smart as they should be, didn't think there might be a second assassin.

I thought this too. Plus the part where she takes out the hair pin. Luckily SGQ grabs her, otherwise it looks like she would have thrown her identity.

I just finished it. I'm kind of glad it finished as any longer, this show would only have gone downhill. As for the ending, I guess it was as expected for the FL. I'm rather annoyed at the ending of the SFL though...

Watchable if you don't mind a modern drama where the focus is on the growth of two female leads. Don't expect too much and it makes for a pleasant watch. But if you scrutinise it, you might find it being a rather average drama.

Nothing wrong with the age gap. My issue is with the storyline - the singing in the stairwell just seemed rather odd to me 😂

Watched to the end. Absolutely loved it. The last 9 episodes that got released is top-notch in quality from script, production to acting. Can't wait for S2!

I think the novel ending is the most fitting. It's not even my ship but it seems most right 😂

#36 is one emotional rollercoaster 🥲

Episode #33, I love how XY knows what she wants and needs. Her words about Jing and how he always tightly holds onto her, never abandoning her. Although there were tears, you just get this genuine feel of happiness.

All S1 is out. Sadly there are rumours that S2 will come out around this time next year. But I'm holding onto hope it will release sooner than we expect.

Watching the start of #33 now. He even perfects the tone of his speech, the pacing, and the choking back of words to match his expression. I don't know why, but there is something about the way he talks, it's so pleasant to watch.

End of #32, CX tearing up seeing XY again. 😭 Can't praise ZWY's acting enough.

Okay fine, XL wins in the to-be-pitied comp. I guess CX had it the easiest in comparison. He just spent the time being a gardener of red trees. 😂

I feel sorry for Jing. He has had someone pour liquid over his face and down his collar for 37 years. 🥲
