Jing marries his fiancee due to fake pregnancy. CSFL had been pursuing XY for a long time. XY thinks he is the best fit for her and also to help CX. She agrees to marry him. Jing pays FFB to stop the marriage, not knowing he would do so on the wedding day. XY is forced to go with FFB as she previously promised him one "wish".

CX did say, in front of the graves, that he was willing to sacrifice, so long as they (him and XY) could live a life where they are not in danger. I feel a large driving factor for power comes from his want to protect XY, but the price he pays is his love for XY.
