Like I mentioned in my review , I thought about dropping it many times but because of the high ratings , I kept going waiting for something to happen.

I had the same reaction when reading the good reviews xD the drama was so boring to me but everyone kept talking about how refreshing it was xD different tastes I guess xD

I don't think this drama can even be compared to reply 1988. There are many things that made reply stand out but the most important one for me was the flow of the story. Prison Playbook was extremely predictable , at no point did I have an "OMG" moment. I just kept watching while waiting for it , but that didn't happen. Reply however , kept me wondering about many things while watching and looking forward to what happens next. Also in Prison Playbook , for some reason, I couldn't really feel the depth of the relationship between the characters .. their feelings didn't seem "justified" to me and seemed a bit unrealistic/exaggerated at times unlike reply where the characters grew up together and the feelings seemed much stronger.
I mean they might seem similar but I personally had a completely different experience watching these 2 dramas xD it's like you said " not everyone has the same taste"

I hate the end! usually I really like this kind of dramas but not this one .. I'm not saying it's bad , it's just overrated .. and I really don't get the whole story of "secretary wang" , I mean why would young forgive her ??? SHE MADE HER BLIND ! that really annoyed me .. and what happened to director kim ? since Oh soo lived , and Jin sung's family as well .. I'm not sure I understood that right @__@ the music is good tho ..

I'm waiting for this to finish airing before I start watching it , but there are so many bad reviews D: IRIS is like my all time fav drama so I have high expectations for IRIS 2 .. I hope I won't be disappointed !
