This is really good. I don't get people who won't watch because they don't like a certain character. This is life.…
Me neither...I cannot understand those who won't watch this drama based solely on one character...So far, I find this drama excellent...the main leads and the secondary actors are doing a great job and that I know because they are getting me totally annoyed, sad, impatient etc...I can totally relate to them....it already made my cry a couple of times....of course, there is a long way to go...it started slow-paced but is gaining momentum each episode...I thought it was a light kind of drama but it is getting darker and darker...and I'm frankly impressed by actor Yang Zi...her emotions are expressed in such a natural and convincing way...with actor Xu Kai i feel basically the same.... I am not disappointed at all by this drama but I will rate it once I finish all the episodes,..to give a score right now would be unfair. I will judge when the drama is over....but so far my score would be high...this drama really portrays all the difficulties when parents want to control their grown-up children to a point that they make them miserable...many have experienced that...also who hasn't experienced toxic work-environments...in real life, it can be even worse....so far, I find the drama really really good...actually I am loving it!!!
Apologies in advance for the long post. Yet another great episode! This is such a solid, smart, engaging drama with so many plot twists that I gave up on them...I'll just go with the flow & enjoy the ride which has been fantastic so far...and today´s epilogue, boy!! Hae In really broke me into pieces....I've the impression she's known all along that BHW really loves her & deeply cares for her & that she's just pushing him away on purpose so that in the end, he doesn't have to suffer knowing there is real possibility that she dies (she may be using the divorce situation as an excuse & all the scenes where she reminisces of their past and all the sadness that we, the audience, believe is due to her feeling betrayed is actually the pain she feels for pushing him away knowing she really cannot live without him)....she is very aware of the humiliation he has suffered at the hands of her family (up to ep7 I did think she was somehow unaware), she herself has pushed him to the limit (e.g. emptying the baby's room) ..she is so aware of all that went on up to this point...it's like she chose to let him go because in her mind, perhaps it's best to spare him the suffering...yet, she desperately wants to live because of him.. (she has had a reason to live all along😭😢😢😭) ....just saying...I'm probably totally wrong but it's fun to share my thoughts...as for the remaining characters:
HBJ: childish , hysterical and hyperventilating all the time, but she rocks and she makes sense most of the time...great she is teaming up with BHW HSC: dumb, greedy and weak, but still has a heart at least when it comes to his child HMD: no comment...grandpa is the main reason for the downfall of the family and company MSH: a sly deadly viper ES: a psycho but seems to genuinely love HI or rather obsess over HI. He is trying hard to kill two birds with one stone KYG: he goes with the wind but still a loyal friend CDH: we could see she was having second thoughts but then ...she left with her son...now..seems she is having a hard time with the child...will she come back?...sure she will..will she be accepted? not sure...after all, she is teaming up with criminals making her a criminal herself... HBJ: weak dad though the only one apart from the aunt that believes in BHW BHW's family: diversity is key in the world 🤔😂 but they are in general good people...surely they will give a lesson or two to the arrogant Queen family..specially to mama KSH.
Finally...the OST...OMG.. particularly Fallin' by Isaak Hong and Love you with all my heart by Crush...I listen to them in loop mode...they are simply too good to be true
This drama is serving its purpose so far...I'm being entertained by the plot and the characters...I'm loving the bad ass yet thoughtful MAJ and even though the ML is annoying at times (immature I'd say), LJH is likeable at least to me....clearly there is a story behind his behaviour towards LDH... Good to have come across this FL...Jeon Jong Seo is a surprise to me...she is really good and I will watch her other dramas for sure.....and glad I have already seen Moon Sang Min in two excellent dramas (UQU & My name)..he's got lots of potential. I'm not at all disappointed in this drama...despite the real age gap... I see chemistry between the leads...last but not least, I am hating YCW...she looks sweet in the outside but she really is conniving...
totally agree. If she is with MG and isn't telling SJ then that is so wrong when she knows her sister likes him…
I see it coming ..it seems it will be EA most likely....and it is not that I am so into SJ...but at least SJ is a funny character unlike EA...I just can simply not swallow EA ...a twist in the plot? so far everything has been predictable...I doubt they will change the plot and if they do, it may seem rushed.......hints are flying that it will be EA/MG....I guess I have lost the little interest left in me for this drama...extending the number of episodes does not seem wise to me...but that is just my humble opinion....
I'm still hoping for a miracle...yeah...SJ & MG...because MG & EA????...boy!!..two boring characters together...no way! at least SJ brings life into MG... I guess they have to match the spinster EA with someone and that is MG...geez!!!!...and EA is not being fair to SJ...if anything is happening between her & MG, she should be the first one to tell SJ so that SJ does not make a joke out of herself in front of MG...I simply cannot like EA...zero chemistry with MG...they really forced this EA/MG couple....and 11 more episodes to go??? This one is pretty much the female version of the 2021 Chinese movie My Love...sad ending... or another Us and Them as someone here mentioned...it looked promising but the ending was plane bad...I love both actors but I will just pretend I never saw this movie hahah
Funny enough, I have been stuck with Chinese dramas for almost a year now...and thanks to Xiao Zhan and his recent post in Oasis of a few stills from this drama, I have come back to my roots!!...and I am not a bit disappointed...this drama has everything you need to fill your heart with a scope of emotions. It is a funny, profound, witty, unique drama with superb acting, a perfect pace and the plots develop fast yet concisely and give us a sense of closure....a drama that works the stories efficiently for viewers and does not trap you in a never-ending loop...not a dull moment with it...most importantly, it brings up a relevant topics such as discrimination, inclusion, competitiveness, misuse of power etc to the table and therefore does not only entertain but makes you think and deeply reflect on the problems society suffers from...I am really loving it!! Anyway, I am the prodigal child that has just come back home thanks to this wonderful Extraordinary Attorney Woo!!! PS: the FL is now at the top of my fav Korean actors!!.
Yes, we are all hoping for them to reunite in a new Drama...their on-screen chemistry cannot go to waste..such…
yeah, exactly...it's like in those 1 or 2 minutes he went through a lifetime of emotions...from being stunned to complete happiness 💗...it takes ability for an actor to be able to express such emotions in such an incredible way and in such a short time...kudos to Xiao Zhan 💗
