But it's not very sad, till you reach the end you expect it naturally.

It was a bit rushed at the end , but most of the plot points were resolved, except snow man's identity.😶
I rewatched too and got a lot cleared up.

I enjoyed it a lot. Even though I liked the romance , even if you don't, the mystery plot is enough to give it a watch.

That's the whole point, even the real hongrang wasn't jaeyi's biological brother and had a different father.
But the romance was awkward at the start when jaeyi didn't know, no one is denying that.

I do think as they were in a life or death situation feelings develop more quickly and intensely but yeah, needed more development.
With the 2ml , he was caring till he had no competition.
The second he saw jaeyi love another man, his true colours came out quickly.

I think a lot of people went into this thinking this is non romance after reading the synopsis, but there is a romance tag.
Also the start may feel weird as they show jaeyi having conflicting emotions and battling with herself, but in the last few ep their relationship is beautiful and the only respite amongst the tragic atmosphere.
Keep watching even if you don't like the romance , all the mystery is unraveled in the last episodes.

Kkot nim used to rescue children just like she rescued fake hongrang and then used to train them to become assassin. The shaman and kkot nim were working together bcoz they had a common enemy.

The snow man story was not explained well enough, i think a lot was edited out to shorten it and make it bingeable.

Not really. I guess they wanted to keep the viewers guessing over who is the main villain. They put this supernatural creature and two painters.
But it didn't really work out as people just got confused.

Yup she was relieved when she found out he was not her brother. Though she was always conflicted and confused regarding his identity.

No the ml is pretending to be her brother for revenge.
They are not related, the romance starts when she gets to know he is an imposter.

I think even though she kinda accepted him as her brother after getting presented with evidence, he is still a stranger to her in retrospect.
The hongrang she knew was a child, not this deadly assasin.
Still uncomfortable and should have been avoided.
If you like the other aspects, give it one more ep, it'll get better.

No I agree it was a hideous tattoo , could make people uncomfortable.
It actually denoted fertility as yin-yang energy. The prince was making human talisman, and ml was the unfortunate one to get the worst one😭
