I mean, the scenery is endearing, really. I loved the ocean-setting thing but what really blew me off was the main couple. Ok, hear me out, Han Gi Chan is a great actor, his role in 'Where your eyes linger' ofc was so superior, and maybe, since, I have had experience watching HGC on his former role, I was expecting better. His acting is lovable, but it doesn't compliment Holland in any way possible.

It's a nice show. I guess I'm just disappointed how I didn't get this fluttering feeling, the one where my stomach is filled with butterflies, I feel like my stomach is churning when I watched them make out (episode 6) in front of the ocean. It was out of place.
On the other hand, the extra characters didn't really make impact whatsover, Ba Da's ex-bf didn't create impact or their mini-conflict. But I hope they win that little cooking competition thing.
The girl (Ms. So Young) and Ba Da had better chemistry, they carry the show, literally, idk how many screentime Holland gets but it's just as weird that he's the mc and yet the other mc (ba da) is frequently with the girl.
Also, the children hanging out in the restaurant?! and them going to the bedroom?!?! whaaa!!
well, fuck, I don't have expectations for this anymore. 6 of 8 episodes has already disappointed me. Just watching (like said comment) for the views. I feel bad for Holland💀💀 they could've casted him in a horror series or a mini-film so he could use his aesthetic more. I understand how he's gay, I respect him for that, but I don't think it was necessary for the role of Holland. and because of that, I wish they replaced him with other experienced actors (I made a list for this)

for my fanatic BL heart, Restart after come back home is top tier in both acting and cinematography, 10/10 would recommend. If you're into mature plots, ". The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese" is a recommendation too, but I only give it a 7.
I'm pretty sure your familiar with the basics like Utsukare, Ossan's love, Life: Senjou no Bokura etc..,,, and also "His!" darn that gave me goosebumps and cries during watching.
