Nooooo I don't think it's an exaggerated plot about the bullying, the revenge maybe, but the bullying is far worse in SK. Just like Young-bin's character, they often don't get punished legally because they can get away (is privileged to do so) Si-Eun's character is just one of many who encounter bullying, deeply immersed into reflecting truth of bullying in SK. so, kudos for that! It doesn't revolve their tho, friendship is one key part of the series to forget about the grotesque side of fighting. I hope this changes your mind!
the adults/supporting characters lacked strong morals to atleast interfere with the fighting going on :(( I kinda found it weird that seok-dae would actually fight sieun😂😂the police, (just like in usual k-dramas) were incompetent once again here. Also in the sub-plot of Bumseok's father! I was hoping he'd get busted/revealed of the things he did to him, sorta guessing with the lawyer guy, he was a bit skeptical but way too loyal anyways.
Because of this lack of having characters to support them, the plot revolves around Sieun and Suho having to deal with everything by themselves.
When I first saw the poster, I turned it down thinking it was just an ordinary highschool drama, even thinking it was about a band...or something alike. Haha! But anyways, I started watching it earlier this month. Wish I had earlier! Park Jihoon and Choi Hyunwook were both amazing, love the acting. Also Hong Kyung!! aaaaa after seeing him in D.P and A Distant Place, I hardly recognized him.
It was a top-tier and good series all in all. Don't hesitate to watch, it's just PERFECT!!
