I'm like 4 episodes in, I'm not sure how to feel about it. It is interesting but the second assassin is so dramatic, I'm sure that's what makes her character. I'm interested to see whether she'll be friend or foe to the FL. The character I find most interesting is Gong shang jue. I'm sure ML will get some character development. FL is interesting too
They said - exchange of the gifts basically seals the deal. The can legally claim her as his wife. So no... she…
Couldn't the gifts be taken back though. I think I've seen situations like that. Obviously it doesn't do the family reputation good but I think as long as the the wedding nuptials weren't done. She can't be forced to be his wife, right? 😠And the whole thing of going back to Qing, our carefree ML has now been put on a leash. 😠And now it seems there's a new female character entering his life. I just don't how they'll manage to be with each other. Does she not get married? Or will they never have the chance to be together throughout the entire show but only keep yearning ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Where do I take this anger and frustration?! I get it that it was too risky to leave everything behind and run away with him. But wouldn't it have been better to call off the wedding and end things with the other guy instead of running away? Wouldn't the only consequence be that her reputation would be damaged, but she herself said she didn't care what people thought of her. Since she was afraid that he may not fully commit if they ran away together, why didn't they just settle down there? And "observe" him for as long as she liked 'til she came to a decision that she trusted this man? Why did they have to leave?!!
Yes, Ji Chang Wook plays her first husband whose death triggered the whole succession dispute in the first place.Kang…
I get it, so it might be more about flashbacks. But I don't want them whitewash her character. I prefer a more ruthless queen than the gentle kind who end up depending entirely on their husband's love. And I never thought the term cheating on your wife would be used in a joseon context especially in the royal family. Because from what I've seen it was so easy for the king to bring in another woman
