As someone who's read the book (half of it) I think Zhao Jin Mai is nailing her character as Li Rong. Even the subtle gestures are really impressive, I also think ZLH is doing a good job as PWX

The judges, i think are 6, so they take up 600 points while the on site crowd takes up 300 points. they've mentioned it, i'm sure you just missed it. i think the reason you find it boring is because they aren't showing much of their personalities or behind the scenes, it's strictly business (performances). I started watching for Xiumin and Lay's trainees, but i'm enjoying so far

the judges have more voting power than the on site fans, i'm pretty sure

I just finished the previous episode and i'm really happy that Fan placed first, I think he's my overall favourite, he's so talented. the rankings keep changing, i hope Lay's trainees can survive. team Everybody really impressed me

I do like dark characters but I think it depends with the book/show and like you said as long as they don't cross the line. But in some situations I also like characters like Jing from lost you forever and Lin ting from the book a villainess turns over a new leaf but then again, I also really liked Xiang Liu from lost you forever. I do lean more towards the darker side though. And I started hard to find, but I haven't finished it yet, I also love butterflied lover.
Have you watched the killer is also romantic? I like the ML even if he isn't necessarily dark, it also has cross overs with butterflied lover

I've read the book and watched story of kunning palace. Even if I haven't yet finished kill me love me yet, I definitely think Xie Wei's character is much darker than MRJ but MRJ is more of a jerk, at least to the female lead. That's why I don't particularly like him, even if Xie Wei was no Saint, I think I can accept him falling in love with the FL more than this because of all his "demons". Like I said, so far MRJ, just seems like a big jerk. But I will have the final conclusion after completing the book.
And I've watched my journey to you too, even though I haven't finished it yet, the SML was my favorite character because I found him the most interesting

Like the plot says, he pretty much uses her to make another woman jealous without regard for her life, and the same woman is trying to kill her because of this.
Without giving away much, he doesn't care what happens to her because she's only lowly and uses her and other women for his sexual desires, it seems like his bidding his time for something but that doesn't change the fact that he isn't exactly likeable. I'm only 31 chapters in but I'm sure they'll whitewash his character for the drama
