What's the point of this post, to create fan wars? Shall we get over this kind of attitude in MDL forums? This is not a competition, both CPs brought something to the drama, this is what I like this series so much. In any case, CPs are over now. Chinese audience move at the speed of the light and top tier actors are into other dramas and are required to promote these dramas. All these actors are filming now. I followed Chinese website I have accounts in all of them, all is in the algorithm (I also have Chinese friends living in China!) What I can say It looks like the big winner from the impact of the series is Deng Kai landing major contracts with top brands and being in covers of magazines. This is justice well served for a great professional actor finally getting the recognition that he deserves.

Agree that is the best drama of ZL. I have watched a lot from him, but this is his best characterisation to day.

When Qi Ming appears by 10 ep or 11 ep onwards. He is dark as it comes, he is also related to the younger villian. I found both of those characters riveting. QiMin is the mad husband of QianQuian so the tension there is sometimes unbereable. Regarding the Main CP I found there is mystery, truths not told from ep 1, so although it is a very sweet interaction there is a contention background too. I think it is a great series, the pace is amazing for a Chinese drama, very well balanced.

He is the one who is very cultural insensitive. He said in a recent live TV show to TXW, "you drew me so ugly, I look like a South Asian", but before he made fun of the Thai accent in another show. I know this, because I watched that programme (The Truth). The other participants always teased him with Dilraba, but she keeps so distant from him, I don't know if fearing fan wars, that are a real danger in China or she really does not feel close to him at all despite they have been in that programe like for 3 years. I wonder.

Maybe not a fight as such, but they were never closed. ZL has a reputation for being very cold, not very friendly. They are actors that becomes good friends after acting together, but they are other that are not each other cup of tea and they just collaborate professionally.

Don't believe in all the gossips about managers. Series are released months or even years after the filming finished. By that time top tiers actors have filmed more dramas or are in another filming project that needs to start promoting. It is quite common no interaction after the promo of the series finish. This is China style. Strong fan service during promo to hype the film no interaction afterwards. It happens across de board. It is not often to repeat CP hardly ever happen.

Don't believe. It is super popular and well regarded. I have accounts in the Chinese websites. Some of the actors like Deng Kai (the silverhaired villian) has became a star now (he deserves it, is a great actor)

Brilliant performance by 20 years old Li Mu Ran. I hope he continues growing in his career.

This is why I don't understand why people get hooked in fan service. I have watched Chinese dramas for years. Every series is the same and every series people go to war defending their favorite CP. They are pro and fan services is part of the deal to promote a series.

I have the same impression. If you compare TXW with his other CPs, there is coldness among these two.

I am glad they did not bring that storyline here. It would have pull the whole plot out of direction.

It is not, most people loved it

This is Yu Qian Qian, she is the restaurant owner, best friends of FL. this happens before her mad husband appear. The characters of QQ with his mad lover are very strong throughout the series. They were my favourite characters, very dark though.
