Managing expectations: everybody calm down. The marking is the most important event in the novel, but this is Sisters Nongs DIY production after all. So there is a high chance that won't reflect the intensity of the novel. Let's not get too disappointed. It is still exciting

This will be the third bite and it is the most important but I don't raise my expectations!

Kissing - let me lighten my mood and hopefully yours remember the iconic kissing in Ep 6. I watched Chinese dramas by the hundreds some of the actors has copied the k drama style. But opening the mouth and doing some acrobatics doesnt cut it for me. It is the emotion, the timing the giving of the actors who made a great kissing scene. Zhe Xu and Mi Jin had never had an onscreen kissing scene in their whole career. We have the privileged to witness this. There is the first part, a desperate attempt from DZA to stop SH for lying and showing him he is there to stay. The second part both, total vulnerable, consumed in their shared desired. The result: the most daring and perfect kissing scene i have ever watched in a Chinese drama. The camera show us Zhe Xu tongue three times and the last one with Mi Jin more in view we can see he is very much receiving this with his beautiful parted lips. It also means the characters made love and we have the after glow in the long loving kissing of ep 7. By account of crown prince, SH "shared his bed" with DZA for three months. In the reunion, i understand there is sex since the bath scene (red robe) and later on but with two men in conflict with the feelings for each other. so there is no kissing until the wedding. That kissing was gentle and melancholic, like and old couple remembering their first night...

Re Reading the Desire novel again to recover from the devastation of Kill to Love 😭 a beautiful drama, but the heartache! Nothing better than reading about a horny Enigma to recover 😂😂😂

Duang Zi Ang was an elite assassin before becoming emperor of the north. Nobody know what they are given during training but all die in their prime. So he was going to die anyway. Shu He his lover and captured king wanted to committ suicide as a redemption for the "sin" of loving him, but also, and he said it too, because he couldnt bear to witness his lover death. So there was not antidote, he died instantly.

I think so, but the novel has more characters. We really need to wait for a good translation
