This world is awesome and rich, but as someone who didn't watch the Anime it feels to me like they sacrificed the characters in order to cover more story. Everything looks extremely cool and Sebastian is intriguing, but I failed to connect to any character.
You could see that there's probably more to everyone in the last scenes, but I wish they had put in a few such character-relation-scenes in the beginning so that I could've cared.
Wow, what an awesome start! The tone makes me think of Yakou Kanransha and Kazoku Game, though Kazokugari (literally: Family Hunting) is more chilling.
I hope it continues this strong!
I'm liking the bag lady's son more and more. XD Poor Tae Il, please don't kill him off :"( Did I miss the…
I think the only way that detective Seo is connected to mom's murder is that she dirtied her hands concealing the Yoo family's involvement in order to not hinder Yoo Moon Bae's success so that he can achieve this separation.
This got quite predictable at some point but it's gripping nonetheless. There's some great criticism of society and as a bonus it's got Miura Haruma and is shot very prettily. Recommended!
It's extra stressful in Korea, cuz they air two 60min eps a week. Japan often does live-shooting, too, but if it's only one 45min ep a week it's much easier - same for the US.
i've watched 2 eps so far but after reading comments here im scared to continue :D if this is so bad why this…
The first two eps were the best part imo! It spiraled down into crazy unethical nonsense afterwards and although I kept hoping for a long time, it only got worse. It is somehow strangely easy to watch anyway, but I'd recommend dropping...
I'm really rooting for Yoo Ah to end up with Min Suk. Is it just me?
She says that she is one year younger than Hyung Suk, which puts her at 27.
I also like both pairings =D Even if I'm not sure if the Min/Soo pairing is even legal.
It's a little more (but not much) than just a few scenes, but the main couple lacked anything resembling chemistry imo, so if you're watching for the romance I'm pretty sure you'll be disappointed.
The last few eps are contrived to no end, make absolutely no sense and bored me to death. Add to that dropped plot points and an abundance of nonsensical characters. Waste of time.
In a sense, you do have one, but it's far from the classic love triangle/square and avoids almost all annoying tropes. If you hate love triangles, I'd say give this drama a chance anyway. Chances are high you might like it =)
I don't know what I expected, but the end is a letdown. You just knew it was him the moment you got to know there was one more guy and I also think it's out of character for Asumi to forgive him so quickly when she had this one-track-mind set for revenge all series long. Not killing him, okay, but the hug and smile where too much imo. He just killed Arima the other day!
I thought it'd be Jung Kyung Ho, because as far as I know Ryu Soo Young's character is married to Seo Hyo Rim. But if it's 40 eps Hwang Jung Eum will probably take turns with both ^^'
Can someone explain th letter in the brown book/ stack of books??
Don't worry, you didn't miss the explanation - they lift the mystery of the letter in ep 13/14. The exact content of the letter is not important either imo.
