My advice: a lot of people already like Anime/Manga. Try a life action! They probably watched the American "Dragonball" because they were curious. If you show them a well done one (Kenshin, Ranma 1/2, Liar Game, Bokura ga Ita, Honey and Clover(drama)...) they might want to try a few more.
I like her, but I think she's in danger of being typecast. I don't know about standby, but her other characters all have an awful lot of character traits in common.
The show off with guns in ep17 is ridiculous. Come on, as if they didn't know Jung Woo can't shoot any of them…
Maybe if it was someone else he might shoot, but he won't shoot his friends/colleagues. Also, I don't see the need to keep SY from a visit to the police station. He's going to clear her name anyway.
Woah! Hope this is true! I think Park Ki Woong is going to be the stupid one, Kim Ssoo Hyun as the idol one, and…
I heard that Kim Soo Hyun is gonna act as the village idiot and Park Ki Woong is gonna be the idol, hence the awful orange hair. But they both should be able to do either role, so it doesn't really matter to me =)
Love the drama too much crying but lool when she's with Jung Woo I'm like Harry's waiting for you and when she's…
I get confused about who to support a lot, too! I tend to like Harry more (HJW is cute, but he's a little too sweet imo)most of the time though. It's LSH who irritates me, because it feels like she's stringing them both along (not that I can actually blame her for wanting both xD).
Piece had ratings between 1 and 2%, but I really liked it.
It really depends on the time slot a lot, e.g. Monday 9pm slot or the NHK morning dramas usually have high ratings. Also, ratings for dramas in Japan are usually lower than in Korea with breaking the 20% line being rare. My point being: don't give up on watching a drama based on viewership ratings, check MDL ;P
