Hey there! You wrote that you're not a fan of Park Shi Hoo and I noticed that The Princess' Man is not on your list yet. I strongly recommend watching it! Judging from your favorites I think you will love it!! Moon Chae Won is the female lead and it might turn you into a PSH fan after all =)
Ok don't get me wrong I like the "Happily Ever After" concept but the ending was a bit disappointing…
1) I always thought that to be a metaphor for the show. He "dies" mentally when SY is away or something like that.
Or they planned on killing Micky and then the writer changed her mind xD
2) Didn't Harry's mom take money Han Tae Joon wanted? I think the Grandfather gave her some and Han Tae Joon didn't like that... and was Harry hiding in that room because they knew Han Tae Joon was going to do something drastic?
Overall those are very dissatisfactory explanations though and a little more info would have been nice.
Totally agree on 3)!!
Finally it's over! They had lot's of time, I'm disappointed they didn't use it to make a better conclusion concerning…
I don't think it would be alright to let his crimes go unpunished, but this way just sucks (it doesn't feel like punishment if he doesn't realize it anyway).
You're right, the LSY obsession doesn't fit in at all. They should have gone a better way with his character =(
Finally it's over!
They had lot's of time, I'm disappointed they didn't use it to make a better conclusion concerning Hyung Joon and instead wasted it on random stuff. I watched 20 and 21 back to back and it felt like a lot more time went by than 2 hours.
I'm glad nobody died though. 'Life sucks and then you die' is not exactly the message I would want any drama to carry.
I think there's a lot of (especially female) leads that are helluva lot annoying, too (BOF, Panda, Five Fingers...). Annoying supporting characters usually don't annoy me as much because luckily they have less screentime and I forget about them easily after watching.
Dunno why, but somehow k-drama writers are better at writing male characters most of the time.
I have only seen three out of these characters which are those of Bridal Mask, The Moon that Embraces the Sun…
I loved how the Rooftop villians were sooooo bad at being evil xD

Definitly looking forward to the post-army look =D
Warrior Baek Dong Soo is more about bromance than about romance. There was a love story I liked, but it was not the main characters and not the main part of the plot. It's really rather action and a lot of bromance. YSH's character doesn't feel that 2nd leadish and having Ji Chang Wook doesn't hurt either. You don't see the usual sitting-in-rooms-plotting-all-the-time thing that lots of historicals tend to have, which is refreshing.
It has hot actors, badass action, beautiful scenery and also one of my favorite soundtracks. I got completely invested emotionally ^^ Heh, now I feel like rewatching it xD
I have wanted to watch Flames of Ambition for a while, but 50eps seems like a lot of time... and it only has 6,x ratings. If I watch a long one, I will watch Queen Seon Duk first. It's not that much longer and everyone likes it so much.

Hahaha, I know! I take super long to watch one episode, because I take screencaps of YSH all the time and then keep gazing at them before I remember that I'm watching an episode xD
I saw him first in Warrior Baek Dong Soo and he was totally hot in there, too. Not the Dongsaeng kind either.
He's only 3 years younger than me but whenever I think of it that seems like a lot x_X I readily believe the 26 years he is in MY xD
I will miss him a lot the next two years... it's good that there's quite some shows left that he's in and I didn't see yet!
Though this sounds like a really good drama, there's a reason why I refuse to watch it. I just don't want to cry.…
This show will also make you smile a lot. Smile and cry, often simultaneously. I usually prefer shows without crying, but 1 liter of tears is really worth it! Don't be afraid!!
I'm really curious about the identity of the narrator. From his voice I can't tell if it's one of the guys we already know or someone else. Does anybody know?
I kinda hope it's Takei, he's sweet and I'm pretty sure he's not gay.
I always thought that Joon didn't kill the detective on purpose or at least not because he thought he would take Soo Yeon away. They were running away from Han Tae Joon's men at that time and Joon didn't know the detective, so he could as well have thought him to be a threat. And the can was meant to disturb while driving but not necessarily to kill. He was 12 years old and frightened, he wouldn't know all the consequences of his acting.
I get that he's crazy and evil now, but the police made it sound like it was all evil intentions from the start and I don't think that's right...
this drama is scaring me... i feel like its gonna be one of those endings where everything is going to get solved…
Suffering through endless tears and then everybody dies in the end. Well, there certainly are countless ways for writers to mess with their audience! I hope they choose to make a happy or at least a positive ending!
I don't know if I'll pity Harry or if I will despise him to death. I think the first one will do. And if I were…
except he can't xD

That's a good thing! 2nd lead syndrome sucks xD Supporting 1st lead is much more satisfying. You're SUPPOSED to like the 1st lead better. I usually support 1st leads too, but somtimes I just can't get myself to stop prefering the 2nd lead, like in Hana Kimi or Oohlala Spouses.
In Missing You I kinda rooted for both of them although that's not really possible...But I liked them both so much!! But by now I'm a little annoyed by Micky's character (I blame that on the writer, not the actor) and can't really support what YSH's character is doing, so now it's the opposite =(

Haha, I know that! I had seen Micky only in Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Rooftop Prince and I didn't really like him in either, neither his acting nor his looks. But he's totally hot in Missing You. I think his acting improved a lot and he gained a lot of screen presence. I still favor Yoo Seung Ho though ;P
I like how they styled her to look all innocent in the first few eps but changed the styling gradually and by now she really looks black. Her clothes kinda always mirror her mind.
please don't tell me that Japan is starting a time-travel year!
Yes^^ I like time-travel, but it's been an overflow recently so I don't enjoy those dramas as much as I would if there were less. I'm still gonna watch though xD
