It feels totally Japanese to me xD Maybe it's because I don't really know much about Russia other than what they tell you in history class, or because it has some parts that are common in j-dramas, but I don't really see the Russian influence... I wonder if it will be different for you =)
I had only heard a lot of good things about Dostroyevsky but I never read any of his novels... There's another novel of his that was turned into a j-drama (tsumi to batsu/crime and punishment) and I'll definitly watch it, too, as soon as I find the time. Heh, maybe I should read the novels after all!

Shotenin definitly picks up! I got majorly spoiled for Karamazov by reading about the original.... damn my curiosity T_T but it's still great. I like dark stuff^^

Haha, thanks for adding me =) Love your profile pic and I enjoy reading your articles!
Shotenin, Karamazov and Yakou Kanransha are my fav j-dramas this season. Somehow there are a lot of good ones recently =D
I'm really curious about the identity of the narrator. From his voice I can't tell if it's one of the guys we…
Woah isn't he way too old for her? He's 41! Hmm... He could be the older version of one of the guys or maybe she only meets him a lot later? Now I'm even more curious, haha. But it seems likely that it's not one of the guys we know.
Thanks for the info! =)
is this an action genre? I'm interested on it because i'm a fan of Ichihara Hayato .. :D
This doesn't have action. It's psychological, drama, mystery and suspense with lots of darkness. I think it's very interesting and Ichihara Hayato is great in it, so I recommend you watch it anyway =)
Most of those vets are so good they make you hate them in one drama and then love them again in the next one.
I also like Yoon Yeo Jeong a lot. She was the Lee Jae Ha's Mom in King2Hearts.
I wonder how this will ever have a good end, with all the hints at the strife of princes and Bang Won going awry. He was quite likable here and I almost forgot he is the same person as that hateful father of Sejong in Tree with Deep Roots!<br />I had thought they would skip such a development to stop the story at a "happy" end...
I didn't have a problem with the NG ending...
Thankfully I knew Byung Hee was going to die before I started watching, so I was prepared and it didn't shock me as much^^
I've only seen up to ep3, but this would be so much better if we would see them falling in love bit by bit, and not start out with the feelings already there without any reason whatsoever. They are also trying a little too hard to be funny...
The only character I really like is Kaoru! Still wanna know what's going to happen, though.
