Your comment was clearly your personal opinion about her personality and how you felt about the way she treated the ML. That's completely subjective.

The reason I responded wasn't because you called her a bitch or because I wanted to defend her from criticism.

I think you're conflating😅 “she didn't give the apology you wanted” with “she felt no remorse.” Those aren't the same thing. Tang Xue absolutely acknowledges that her past behavior toward him was wrong. Her realization that what she regarded as childish teasing actually affected him deeply is literally part of her character development.
And yes, you can criticize the writing for not giving her a more explicit, thorough apology. I actually agree that the scene could have done more to have her directly acknowledge the specific harm she caused. But saying that she therefore wasn't remorseful at all goes too far.
She didn't say, “I'm sorry you felt that way, but I did nothing wrong.” She admitted that, looking back, many of her actions toward him were wrong. She also learns that the consequences were much more serious than she understood at the time. That's an acknowledgment of wrongdoing and an important part of remorse.
The fact that she didn't intend to hurt him doesn't erase the harm. But it also matters when discussing her character. She was a child who genuinely understood their interactions as teasing and competition, not someone deliberately trying to traumatize another child. Once she understands that he experienced those events as genuinely hurtful, her perspective changes.
And the ML's retaliation being understandable because of what she did doesn't mean the drama is declaring their actions morally equivalent. The point is that he treated her in a way that allowed her to experience the powerlessness and frustration he had experienced. Understanding why someone retaliated against you isn't the same as saying their retaliation was morally identical to your original actions.
So if your argument is “Tang Xue should have been given a much stronger apology scene and taken more explicit accountability,” that's completely fair. But “she wasn't remorseful” is a different claim, and I don't think the actual character development supports that conclusion. She recognizes that she hurt him, realizes that her intentions don't negate his experience, and feels guilty about what she did. That's remorse, even if the writers didn't dramatize her apology as explicitly as you wanted.
You don't have to believe Tang Xue handled everything perfectly to acknowledge that she regretted what she did. Remorse isn't measured by whether a character gives the exact apology speech the audience thinks they should have given.

The FL has FLAWS but also had a good side like how she has a strong sense of loyalty, resilient person, compassionate, brave and honest. And according to ML those characteristics are what moved him. Even he had red flags like being emotionally stubborn, high self-esteem, petty, and impulsive. But like the FL he also has his good side like being supportive, protective, and patient with FL.

As a viewer we should at least see the reason on why she did what she did. It's Yu Yan's mother who pleaded while crying although she don't want to she can't help it. It wasn't the best decision in my opinion but it was addressed in the end and they both apologized to each other. FL apologizing for lying and ML apologizing for accusing her of loving someone else.

But, it wouldn't make her a bad person as per the ML's words she has a strong sense of loyalty towards friends. And Yu Yan is her friend and she brought up his problem many times in front of the ML before the misunderstanding incident. She only did what she was asked for because it's his mother that pleaded with her so she respects her decision. Although, we can see that it's not the RIGHT decision because of what comes later. But even so, she acknowledged her mistakes and the ML acknowledged his mistake of being jealous and accusing her of loving someone. They both said SORRY and forgave each other, so what seems to be the problem here?? They both made a mistake, even if this is a drama it just shows you that people make mistakes, can't people make mistakes nowadays???

Last one, according to the ML himself she is resilient, compassionate, brave, honest and has a strong sense of loyalty. So her being treated as a savior or a "goddess" in your word is not something questionable. As she was being treated because she acted like one, like their savior. And if you're really paying attention to the drama you would've noticed it.

Yes, she is overbearing and guess what? The ML is aware but saw pass her FLAWS as she had other things to offer. Even though in his mind and in YOUR MIND she did not treat him good in their early days, she acknowledged her mistakes and apologized for it.

How about listing the ML's not so thrilling attitude while you're at it, seems like you only had your eyes on our FL. The ML is emotionally stubborn, has a high self-esteem, petty, and impulsive. There, now everyone can see even the ML is not so good. But still it didn't hinder their feelings for each other. This just tells us another perspective about LOVE, and it doesn't judge the person's flaws but who their truly are. Tang Xue is strong-willed and likes to be the boss, but she has strong sense of loyalty towards friends, resilient, compassionate, brave and honest. While, Li Yubing is supportive, protective, and patient. Both won't completely lose themselves as they both are willing to change for each other.🩷

So, yes, this was false comment and mostly biased towards the Male lead😭

Last one, Male lead loving her wasn't something to be questioned. He saw her FLAWS and he saw what she truly is (has a strong sense of loyalty, resilient person, compassionate, brave and honest.) and according to his words that was what moved him. So, this comment was so biased. If you're going to write a hate comment then list all of them, as well as the red flags of the guy (emotionally stubborn, high self-esteem, petty, impulsive), then the people can see that they both have their flaws and was aware if it, but still it's not something that can hinder their love for each other.

I'm a fan of IU since 2016. I've listened to her songs and watch her dramas to support her. Literally she's my first Kpop idol that I'm willingly ready to fight for. But back to the topic, although I'm a big fan of her, I don't really like half of her dramas.... I have my personal reasons for that. Hotel Del Luna is a hyped drama, but I'm not liking some parts of the story there and for me it's just wasn't making any sense. But I'm a fan of her so I just let it pass. I also don't like You Are The Best, Bel Ami and My Mister. And this is coming from a fan of her since 2016. I actually have an account where I dedicated it about her but then it got hacked after that I got discouraged from making any new fan account.

But although I hate half of her dramas. There's still some drama that left a special place in my heart. (Dream High, The Producers and Scarlet Heart.) If you give it a try you'll see her cute sides and another acting skills of her. This is coming from a fan of her since 2016, I agree I didn't like half of her dramas but please give those 3 a try. And as for this new upcoming drama, I'll also give it a try despite her recent dramas not entertaining me. I really love her and still supports her and I'm also hoping to love her new works.
