But what about the whole " I made a promise written in stone and I can never fall in love or the world will end"…
That was made up for the tv show Eternal Love and it doesn't exist in the books. At that time Jaywalk Studio only bought the rights for Bai Qian and Ye Hua's book so they didn't follow Feng Jiu and Dong Hua's real story. Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillow Book is going to be adaptation of their book and it won't be a sequel to Eternal Love (tv show).
