So what if the dream that LS had of ManMan and Di Zhu having fun during Aodeng Tribe was actually real? it was a flashback of their past lives since Bai Ze said that they are going through the past that they once lived through?
What if YXZ becomes blind due to Tian Di's blast and forget himself and then become JL?
I'm just gonna sleep now, I have so many wild theories going on my head rn lol
With just one episode a day, Iâm left spiraling in my own delusionsâso here are my thoughts.
Thereâs this lingering sadness beneath every CPâs storyline. The illusion arc feels less like an escape and more like the only place where theyâre allowed to live honestlyâwithout the chains of duty, identity, and expectations.
For WWY, the illusion is everything sheâs ever wanted. Sheâs tired of the life sheâs lived, tired of the bloodshed, and all she ever wished for was to be mortalâto feel, to love, to exist without guilt. Thatâs why she hesitates to leave. In that world, she doesnât have to betray WSG or carry the weight of her past. She can just be herself. But once she steps out of it, reality doesnât waitâher responsibilities return all at once, and with them, the inevitable fallout.
Itâs the same with LS. I feel like the reason he never revealed himself as JL to LWY is because he was afraid sheâd be dragged into his troubles. In the illusion, he gets to simply be JLâjust someone who loves her. Thatâs why he said he would marry her if they stayed there; itâs the life he genuinely wants, at least for once. But the moment they leave, he returns to being the cold, distant LS. He knows that continuing to love LWY would only put her in danger. Outside the illusion, he is the Dragon Deity again, burdened with endless responsibilitiesâeven if that identity itself isnât entirely real.
Honestly, I believe the same. I do have some questions left in all this though, like where does the six eyed butterflies…
or YWH killed the six-eyed butterfly (as they caused Tian Di to lose control of his power) to avenge YXZ and then become the demon butterfly himself đ
From the latest episode, it really feels like LWY is actually Di Zhu from the past. She has the same face as the LWY shown in JYâs flashback, whereas WSG doesnât resemble Cang Hao, and WWY doesnât look like Qing Yi in their past forms. It also seems pretty clear that JY is in love with Di Zhu/LWYâespecially when LS pointed out that JYâs weakness mirrors his own (that line was basically a confession, honestly).
My theory is that YWH, the butterfly demon, is actually the real YWH who strayed down a demonic path. LJ might be a fragment of his spirit (remember LJ is a human but is very powerful), sent to the Shilin Sect to protect LSâwho is actually his brother, Yuan Xi Zai. I think YWH sent LJ there out of guilt for forcing LS/YXZ to consume the Dragon Marrow, which failed to heal him and instead drew the real LS/CW. In turn, LS/CW cured his blindness but required YXZ to take his place while he went into hiding, leaving YXZ exposed to danger. Sensing this, YWH sought out JY and teamed up with him to free YXZâthe current LS/CW (but each with their own motives).
P/S: LJ does seem to have faint memories of a younger brother, along with voices urging him to go to the Shilin Sect.
LWYâs background feels way more layered and secretive compared to the other three. With them, you can at least piece together hints of who they really are, but LWY? Every âclueâ just opens up more questions. The fact that she can use her own powers inside the illusion, that whole âshe didnât existâ when Formless Moon first came to be (which really feels like thereâs more behind it), and especially the fact that the Fox Queen gave the color stone only to her and not the other foxes?? That alone feels like a huge hint that sheâs differentâlike she was singled out for a reason.
And then you add her ability to absorb other peopleâs powers⊠thatâs not just strong, thatâs on a whole different level. It really makes you question if sheâs truly just the youngest âfox demonâ or something way more important to the entire story.
Lowkey feels like sheâs holding the biggest secretâthe key to everythingâand weâre just waiting for that one reveal where everything finally makes sense. Which also means⊠yeah, we are not surviving the emotional damage when it hits đ„Č
I agree with you. At least no one knows what's gonna happen next and being able to experience it all together…
Rightttt, 29 episodes is not enoughâhow are we already down to just 15 left đ It honestly feels too short for everything theyâre building up.
And I agree, LWYâs background feels way more layered and secretive compared to the other three. At least with them, you can sort of piece together their identities bit by bit, but with LWY⊠itâs like every clue just leads to more questions. That mystery makes her so much more intriguing.
Lowkey feels like sheâs the one holding the biggest secretâthe key to everythingâand weâre just waiting for that final reveal where everything clicks into place. Which also means⊠yeah, weâre probably in for maximum angst when it finally drops đ„Č
One episode a day is pure torture đ Iâve fallen into an unhealthy habit of rewatching the trailers over and over, dissecting every frame like itâs going to give me answers⊠but it just makes me more anxious, sigh. And with only 15 episodes left, it really feels like all that angst they hinted at the trailer is about to unfold at once. Iâm not readyâbut also weirdly ready to suffer, tissues in hand đ„Č
This is exactly why I prefer original scripts over novel adaptations (though I still love adaptations, haha). Thereâs something so exciting about not knowing whatâs comingâno spoilers, just pure mystery that keeps you guessing every episode. Theories are everywhere, some right, some completely off, and the constant plot twists make it even more addictive.
And with the latest episode, Lu Wu Yi just became even more mysterious. Who is she really? Whatâs the truth behind her existence? The way she absorbs othersâ powersâthere has to be more to it. It feels like every clue only deepens the mystery.
At this point, Iâm expecting an even bigger twist. This show is seriously so good! đ
"In this snow and ice, where should I find flowers to pick for you?" that pretty much confirms you're Ji Ling, Long Shen aaa đ€Ș don't deny it further
Fated to love? fated to doom? fated to kill? đ
What if YXZ becomes blind due to Tian Di's blast and forget himself and then become JL?

Just my current rot brain theory dump đ
