I’ve uploaded my review ✌🏻 and I can’t help but feel a little emotional about this whole journey. I’ve been here since the filming days—coming up with theories, chatting endlessly, and just sharing the excitement with everyone. It really meant a lot 🫶🏻

Waiting for this drama was so worth it, but what made it even better was all of you. Having this space to ramble, analyze, and experience every high and low together made it unforgettable. Love you guys, and I hope we cross paths again in another drama’s comment section 😚

I'm in the middle of writing my review and also playing the OSTs, still freaking crying when those scenes plays in my mind 🥹

I'm still waiting for the duet (I'm not letting it go GJM) & BGM, hoping they'll release it when the drama finally ended (normal time) and waiting for their farewell speeches

I posted this earlier but I pasted it again for you. But this is my take on the ending

Everyone still remembers JL in the new timeline. The only thing that was altered was LWY’s birth 50 years ago—not WSG’s 100 years ago or JL’s 150 years ago.

So in that timeline, LWY simply doesn’t exist. JL is no longer torn between duty and love, and he follows his destined path—sacrificing himself for the rain. That means everyone still remembers him, still knows the story of the little fox from the South Mountain who carried the immense burden of becoming the Dragon Deity for the sake of the world.

LJ’s final line—“now the mission has ended…”—feels like quiet confirmation of this. It sounds like his duty to protect JL has finally come to an end. Which also reinforces the idea that the only person erased from everyone’s memory is LWY. She’s the one taken out of that timeline, brought into another universe by JL. That’s why LJ can still faintly sense that “someone” is out there, calling to him, even though the JL in his timeline is already gone.

JL could have returned to that new timeline—but he chose not to. Because his love for LWY goes beyond everything. If he went back, he would simply die and forget her along with everyone else. Instead, he chose to remember her, even if it meant losing everyone and everything.

And honestly… that’s what makes it so heartbreaking.

So to me, everyone remembers JL—but no one remembers LWY. Only JL carries her in his memory, and somehow, that’s enough.

Because in the end, what he said still holds true: “Before or now, all I want is for you to be happy.”

Taking her to another universe—one where she never had to endure all that pain—is his way of protecting that happiness. Of preserving the version of her that is playful, kind, innocent, and free.

and I do believe he retains his memory and is taking a step by step to approach LWY 🤗 as for why they become humans, in my opinion, they enter a universe where there is no demons, deities, immortals etc, thus losing all those powers, just a normal human world just like LWY & JL dreamt of living as humans without any responsibilities. (now maybe a possibility of 2nd season in a costume setting 👀 lol dont mind me I'm crazy delusional kekeke)

Han Ba causes the drought still, If I recall he lose control of himself because he know now Su Jian remembers their love as she was the one who took the memories inside the necklace before she died.

I remember LWY said she did what she did to prevent Han Ba from knowing the truth, in which it will caused the drought.

After rewatching it 3 times, I settled on the following ending:

So the reality really sinks in, it has ended. Now I felt some emptiness in my heart and mind 🥹

Thank god Lai Zhan will be released in Q2 🥲 I'm dont want to wait another 2 years for her drama huhu. WanHua most likely be released next year, TEF will be released when the world collapsed, so in Lai Zhan we hope 🤗

Hope she'll accept big IP dramas that will let her shine some more! I'm done with the people's narrative that she can't act, all this while it was Siba who's accepting weak dramas for her. Now that she's independent I want her in some political costume drama 🤗

I want the castssss, though I now it won't be big names actors but still, feed my delulu

Oh no 😥 as much as I loved her in Wan Hua, I want her to finish filming it quickly, so that she can accept new dramas (maybe with TJR) 🤪. There's not even a melon of her new drama apart from months ago with Neo Hou 🥲

that one makes me volume down my computer quickly lol 😂
