Seems like that Gao girl is having an equal shares of screen time with our JBN ffs😤 watching the drama to see JJY as the female lead with much screentime and not for the second female lead with unnecessary antics and fillers🔥

finished watching ep 25 & 26, ngl that gao b*tch is the shameless character I've come across in a drama😌 the audacity is over the top! two people, TWO, sacrifice their lives for her and she just said "I don't owe anything to anyone", the f*ck? she just makes my blood boils every time I see her. It makes me want to throw something at my laptop every time her face appears ffs, At this rate, I'm ready with a large pot of hot oil to boil her so that she can have some of her 'brain' (if she actually has one) back😌

Thank god our OTP scenes makes up for her otherwise I might be diagnosed with high blood pressure. haih. our OTP is the only one that can soothe my mood every time that Gao girl appears.👌🏻 Ain't they too cute together🤣? Oh, Even Shanhu & Jin Xiao are going to be a couple😂 the amount of couples this drama have, but Shanhu & Jin Xiao is cute tho🤣 the emperor scene with the empress is also cute, what if the emperor just go along with the empress? then maybe the empress won't be so evil to JB😞

Seems like from the trailer for next week that Gao girl is scheming yet again with her particularly 'clever' idea😌 and on top of that it's with ZX🙃 it seems both our SLs are psychotic obsessives persons. I was hoping for ZX to turn good but hmmm........Nevertheless, can't wait for next week's episodes as Li Qian is finally promoted! and QA and DZ are ALIVE!🥰 but I'm wary of the end conversation between LQ's father and that gao girl😭 hope there wouldn't be too much angst🙃

I guess its something to do with censorship there in China, they're really sensitive about that, and I heard that the drama Empress of China was supposed to be 96 episodes but it was cut down to 80 episodes and some of the cuts was supposedly because some of the women's dresses were so-called 'low cut' showing a bit of their chest...

yea, the BTS of this drama is also cute🤣 I can't believe that JZ was 3 years younger than JJY 😂 JZ was also playful with JJY in the BTS, always surprising her😂 and do you realize JZ also seems to carry JJY as easily as ZZH🤣😭 there's one scene where he carried her with one hand🥰

its like a buy 1 free 1 evil combo 😞 Why don't they just follow the novel and marry off that Gao girl to Li Lin and off to somewhere else?😌 I certainly don't need her presence to enjoy the drama

yes, as long as they've consummated, I don't mind in which way they portrays it tho, its up to us to think about the rest😂 besides from all the historical c-drama I've watched there's been rarely any steamy to hot scenes between the leads🤣 just their cute interaction made me go wild😂

yesss, its super angsty towards the end, I can't even stop crying, the fact that the FL didn't even trust her husband was a huge downfall. Me too stays because JJY & ZZH chemistry is wayyyyyyyy to cute, both off and on screen. Even watched their bts to fill in the emptiness waiting for the new episodes every week😂

yess, the scene of the empress with that gao girl gave me anxiety, I can't even stand that Gao girl let alone the combination of her with the dumb empress! anyhow the good thing is that it seems like that Gao girl have been chased out of the Li's mansion looking at how she seems to be in a miserable place when she treated the empress.

I don't mind it tho😂, but have you seen the trailer for ep 29 and 30? things are getting dead serious🙃

Ep 23 & 24 is surely a cute one, heheeheh. We got to see QA and DZ, LQ and JBN scenes together! And thank god that Gao girl didnt have that much screen time, thought she was dead for a second😌 And the interaction between DZ and her mum is cute😭

And finally our OTP had consummated their marriage! the fact that JBN seems to be shy about it got me giggling all the way through😂 LQ's parents even tease them about it! and the fact that LQ's aunt and DZ even made tonics for JBN to recuperate got me laughing😂 not to mention LQ's stepmother asked the cook to make miscarriage prevention soup for JBN🥰

I think that the emperor is truly a good emperor set aside his obsession towards JBN. He even asked the eunuch to take money from his *private* treasury to be used as disaster relief. But watching the end of ep 24, does anyone want to kill Gao with me? I'll get ready with some axes and bombs to kill her! at this rate even the combination of ZX+the Empress+the emperor is better than her! How can she be so evil to the people???? and try to put the blame to Baoning even??? I can't with this psychotic girl, she just makes my BP rises everytime she pops out of the screen!

yes, I do think that this should be rated higher than an 8.0...I think people just mad at the recent filler episodes that they rated it low but we havent even get to the main plot! I pray that the rating would be higher in the nxt few eps🥲 besides i'm not here for political series, i'm here for the leads😆 if we are to rate it without those unnecessary dumbass characters screentime, i'm sure that the rating would be higher😤

they are not half siblings, LQ has a different mother, DongZhi's Mother is LQ's Stepmother.

Here's how it would look like:
LQ's Parents - Li ChangQing & his 1st Wife
DZ's Parents - Li ChangQing & his 2nd Wife
QA's Parents - Li ChangQing's 1st Wife & YongQing's King

Meaning to say, the one who is half siblings are LQ and QA. The only way DZ & QA are related to each other is through LQ, both being half-siblings to LQ.

Ep 22 was slightly a better one, because our leads got many screentime together, and they worked together to solve a problem, its the best out of the 4 released this week. Hope we'll get better ones in tonight's episodes
