Plz confirm if it contains mind numbing ex, revenge, childhood connections or not. Is it office romance or less…
No hint of revenge or childhood connection plot so far. Little progress in the romance department at this point. The early episodes only show the FL's struggle in getting out of a financial crisis and looming bankruptcy (with the unsolicited help of the ML).
honestly, I kinda feel sad seeing dali being helpless
Same. Felt my heart clench a little. When a poor person begs, they don't go through the same embarrassment as what someone rich turned poor has to go through. That's why a lot of people who go bankrupt commit suicide. Dali's strength to endure it is admirable.
People are too focused on the likeability of characters that they forget that every great piece of fiction doesn't…
I couldn't have said this better. Those who criticize how the ML's character is written should broaden their horizon and watch more slice-of-life films and dramas. Escapism is not entirely bad but too much of it will eventually distort your reality.
She a brilliant actress and always understands the "assignment" perfectly. All the characters she's played so far, I can set apart. I look forward to see her in more dramas and films.
I don't think Da Li still has feelings for him. She was away in the Netherlands and she was happy there. If her…
I agree on his being obsessed. Although in other dramas when it's the ML doing it, the audience will see it as romantic (lol). Furthermore, there are hints on his being manipulative, too--a sociopath who wants his toy back by any means.
If I were Dali though and I like the person, I wouldn't even let him know of my dire financial situation especially if he wronged me. It depends on the person really. But you're right, her behavior when she's with him is strange (she's too uncomfortable and does not seem to trust him). Good observation.
I, of course, also want the ML's character development but I don't think the ML stands a chance against the SML if he's a good guy (at this point, his only advantage is he can make the FL laugh unintentionally.lol). That's why, in contrast to the ML's character development, I think they'll do the opposite to the SML's character.
can anyone tell me how to rate this drama cause no reason PGY haters are making the rating low on purpose , i…
On top of the page next to the rating value, there's a "Your Rating" text and stars next to it. Click on the stars. A modal where you can input your ratings will show up.

The way she looks at him seem to imply she likes him though. Her hesitation to reach out to him can also be due to her having lingering feelings. I'm no guru in love (lol) so I guess her feelings is subject to interpretation.
I suspect the nephew, too, but I still think he is also involved. Apart from whatever the reason is for the breakup, he seemed to be "perfect". They'll have to taint his character if they want the audience to root for the crude ML.
Honestly, I find his naivety amusing. His family is technically nouveau riche and these kinds don't usually get…
Are they required to highlight both Dali and MH at the same pace at the same time? lol you're too impatient.
Um no, they don't need to show the business side that's not relevant to the story line. And no, even professionals make bad investments especially when they trust their relatives too much.
They are two opposite personalities. They can be complementary to each other but they do not have enough interactions…
I liked their interaction in Netherlands, too (I kinda miss it). I agree that this so-called chemistry goes beyond the physical aspect. It usually depends on the story and how well the actors make it work.

It's unfair to accuse the writer/s of not giving quality writing at this point. He and Dali are written as contrasting characters so no, he should not have the same depth as Dali's character. His simple-mindedness is what makes him hilarious in fact. Yes, he is crude, illiterate, likes money and his world revolves around gamjatang. Is writing a cheapskate character bad writing? No. Bad (lazy) writing is making the ML into the usual prince charming stereotypes.
And no, this is not a business drama so don't expect to see any business handling strategies. But I'll patronize you. In one scene, he asked for information on domestic and international galleries and wanted to know which of them made money--this is called benchmarking. And how he handles their company's directly managed restaurant indicates operational maturity. If he knows this much, he isn't as illiterate as you make him out to be.
SML still likes Dali (and I think vice versa) so I'm mighty curious what made them break up. Was she made to choose between the SML and her father? Did the SML have something to do with her father's death I wonder? I don't think he'd kill the dad (at least, not with his own hands) but it is possible he ordered someone to retrieve something valuable (like a proof to crime, for instance) which resulted into the dad's accidental death. At this point, the SML fairs better than the ML but the framing of the SML's character has ominous overtones.
