Seriously why did you bother to watch this series? You have moaned and complained relentlessly for every episode.…

You must forgive me if I have offended your deep sensibilities, you know, we Italians are like that, at a certain point we tell people who are objectively idiots to go fuck themselves. And then you're blatantly lying, I haven't commented on every single episode; I've probably written twice in this comments section. You're distorting the truth.

Again? Are you stupid? Because I PAID to see it, and considering I invested time and money, I have every right to say it sucks, considering it's a TERRIBLE TV show, and anyone who says otherwise is simply blindsided by two handsome men kissing, people that are completely incapable of objectively evaluating anything else. And I'm not the only one saying this, but 99% of the people who left terrible reviews.

You're the one who's negatively influenced by something you don't agree with. If you didn't like what I wrote, you could have simply ignored it. But you didn't. You felt the need to comment. Why? If I read something stupid or senseless, I don't bother preaching cheap morals about it. And anyway, I'll continue to review any show I want, however I want, even if there's someone from who knows where who thinks he can lecture me.

And if you don't like this review, why did you bother commenting? This is a forum where people express their opinions about a particular television product, and unless it veers into vulgarity or insult, everyone is free to say whatever they want. Get over it.

And we've finally reached the end of this long ordeal. An ordeal, yes, because the entire series was literally embarrassing, not to mention made too hastily and with a certain type of script that was absolutely unsuitable for a crime thriller. I must say that, compared to other actors, Joong and Dunk have great chemistry. In fact, I really liked them in The Heart Killers and hoped to be equally enthusiastic about this series, which, frankly, excited me even more at the beginning. I've always appreciated slow-paced love stories, ones where the protagonists gradually fall in love, the romantic approaches are well-calibrated and free of stereotypical banality, where the bond develops gradually as situations become more difficult, and above all where passion blossoms after a suitable amount of time (that's why I've always detested those dramas in which the protagonists make eyes at each other, kiss, and even have sex over the course of three episodes). I hoped this series would be perfectly suited to my needs, but frankly, I was wrong. Very wrong. They start flirting far too early for my standards, and the psychological development also leaves much to be desired. Technically, Joong should embody a flirtatious, quick-witted character, while Dunk should border on the classic cold and impassive inspector, completely devoted to his job and completely devoid of romantic/sentimental interests. The fact is, Dunk wasn't even remotely up to the task. Despite his openly questionable facial expressions, he wasn't able to adequately switch between different moods; at times he seemed annoyed, and the next second you'd suddenly find him smiling. The entire atmosphere was truly cloying: the overly cheerful and humorous colors, the style of the characters (who gave me the impression of '70s rockers rather than distraught teenagers grappling with the probable murder of a classmate), but the very sensations that created those atmospheres: where is that sense of profound unease, of uneasiness, of terror that should have literally invaded my bones? Terrible, really. It could have been made much better; if they'd just put a little more effort into it, it could have been a truly top-notch product. But I have the impression they rushed it to secure as many viewers as possible, despite the completely inadequate direction, a lousy script, an ill-fitting couple, and a terrible soundtrack. It's truly a shame.

Overall, the series was enjoyable enough, although I didn't like the last few episodes at all. They rushed things a lot, along with tons of plot holes, things that weren't adequately explained, and the pacing was decidedly too rushed and elusive. I was definitely expecting a lot more, and I won't deny that I was quite disappointed, but overall I'd give it at least a 7. I admit I wasn't particularly interested in the couples, as they completely lacked the elements that make a relationship interesting for me, but I recently watched the trailer for Grim's Lover and I have to say that the role of the reaper suits Pooh perfectly! Finally, some masculinity; frankly, I was tired of seeing him take on banal, stereotypical, passive, and overly effeminate roles. Well, overall, it wasn't bad. I certainly would have liked it to have been developed in a completely different way, from the relationship dynamics to the formation of the couples, but overall, I'm quite satisfied. See you soon!

Think what you want, you know how much I care hahahaha. And now I'm leaving you because I have to go out with my boyfriend, you can keep championing people who don't even know you exist, if that's what makes you feel good.

But look, I don't really care that much, and I'm definitely not making a big deal out of it, hahaha. I just expressed my opinions regarding this specific series. Then, let them do what they want, I'm not going to cry in any case.

Hahaha, I've commented several times, so maybe you haven't seen my previous posts. Anyway, the enthusiasm I originally felt for this series has literally evaporated over the past few episodes. At first, it seemed like a very original story with an extremely interesting plot, but in the end, it turned out to be much more boring than it initially promised. Also, the casting is completely flawed in my opinion. The guy who plays Thup is a terrible actor. He's completely incapable of acting properly, he doesn't convey any kind of emotion... he's static, impersonal, and lacks any psychological characterization whatsoever. Furthermore, he's completely lacking in expressive ability. I don't like him at all, and the pairing with Pavel doesn't arouse any emotion in me. It would have been much better if he'd paired up with King. Besides being a much better and more expressive actor than Pooh, I've always found him to have much better chemistry with Pavel than Pavel did with Pooh. They could have kept the investigation the same, but the couple should have been different. Imagine: two ex-lovers meet again after a long time apart. They broke up under unpleasant circumstances, and major misunderstandings arose. They are forced to work together, and at first, sparks fly from all sides. The situation gets complicated, the case becomes complex, and collaboration is required. The two begin to reconnect and realize they still have feelings for each other. The climax arrives: one of them is in danger, so the other sacrifices himself to save him and is injured or even risks his life. This dynamic makes them realize they can't do without each other, and so, after properly discussing what drove them apart, they make up. A perfect story. Instead, no... was it necessary to include Winnie the Pooh? Hahaha. How sad.

An extremely difficult episode to watch without wanting to pick up the TV and throw it out the window. The amount of STUPID things that were done is mind-boggling. It seems everyone has lost their minds. First of all, I was surprised by the attitude towards King's disappearance. The inspector was supposedly captured by a bloodthirsty serial killer and his demented son to be sacrificed in a black magic ritual, and all they can say is "He'll be fine." Seriously? Not even the slightest sense of urgency? It's not like he got lost while hiking in the mountains, eh? He was LITERALLY kidnapped. Who knows. One of the many things I found decidedly surreal and unrealistic. Second: Thup and Singha's behavior. Absurd, come on. There are two psychopathic villains out there desperate to kill them, and they still find time to waste on romantic confessions and various kisses... but please... if I knew I was a potential victim, I'd be so scared I wouldn't even glance at my boyfriend. But let's get to the worst part. The behavior towards Darin. You know he's SURELY going to be the next target, since he was born on a Wednesday, but you still let him go to the bathroom alone. Oh, stupidity personified. You can't be so negligent in such dire situations, damn it. Not to mention the willingness to leave Thup alone in a car in an extremely creepy parking lot. ALSO, I feel like I have to say something from the bottom of my heart: Who the hell gave Singha his police license? You fire an indefinite number of bullets, and you're not capable of hitting even once the tire of a vehicle, which wasn't even going that fast, by the way? He gave me the impression that it was the first time he'd ever handled a gun. How frustrating.

Totally agree with your comment. Was looking forward to JoongDunk again after Heart Killers but what a disappointment.…
But in general, I've noticed that they tend to rely too much on the chemistry between certain actors, even at the expense of crafting an extremely poor plot. I mean, there can be all the chemistry you want, but the success of a television production can't be based solely on that. Even when they released the official trailer, I was left with a really bad taste in my mouth, but I thought it was too early to judge. But now... I mean, it gets worse with every episode. I experienced the same thing with Goddess Bless You From Death: there too, the trailer suggested a much more interesting story than it actually turned out to be. Even if only to a lesser extent, because the plot there makes a modicum of sense and manages to sufficiently engage the viewer. But in this show they really ruined everything: the chemistry between the protagonists, the aesthetic of the characters, the general atmosphere. We've gone from the original dark and disturbing tones to a totally changed atmosphere, with humorous overtones! Can you flirt while watching the autopsy of a corpse? Come on, it's ridiculous. But also the lighting and the style given to the characters... it gives that impression of: "Yeah, there's an ugly and evil monster out there, but until something directly happens to us, who cares, let's keep smiling and flirting like there's no tomorrow!" This thing is truly unbearable. Among other things, you don't really feel that sense of unease, profound uneasiness, and mystery that should naturally be present in a crime thriller. Really very disappointed.

I had really high expectations, but, I'm sorry to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the overall direction of the series. First of all, the investigation: it's cloying, very forced, and decidedly unrealistic. I find the flirtation between the two protagonists boring and downright irritating: the jokes are predictable and have overly romantic and saccharine overtones. I was hoping for a love story that would develop gradually, with the characters experiencing increasingly complex feelings as events and difficult situations unfold. I imagined a gradual and well-calibrated approach, but instead we had a kiss as early as the third or fourth episode, and that's a real no for me. The overall atmosphere has lost much of its original sense of unease and mystery, the lighting and the characters' style have a vaguely humorous edge, and there's not even the slightest hint of the tension that should be present in a detective thriller. I'm not enjoying it at all right now. I hope it improves as the episodes progress, but I don't think it's going to be a good fit. Sin.

I have to say, I really liked King's behavior. He showed himself to be a mature person. Many would have begged, gotten angry, or even tried to humiliate themselves just to make the other person feel guilty. It's right to let someone go when they make you understand it's over. Of course, there's legitimate regret, especially since he believed he was acting with good intentions and, from his point of view, he hadn't done anything so serious. Singha's line was beautiful: "The memories between you and me have never faded. But the scars you left me have never faded either." Very powerful. He also made him understand that there was a possibility of remedying the situation; if only he'd talked to him about it right away, they could have resolved everything together. But after all that time, he had rightly moved on and didn't feel like going back, having also developed feelings for someone else. Truly heartbreaking. And certainly a great lesson for King, which will undoubtedly serve him well when he finds someone else. Beautiful.

Whatever you want, I find it truly disrespectful to advertise the series exclusively on Netflix and avoid publishing it on YouTube. It's true that Netflix is available in most countries around the world, but it's also true that a lot of people objectively can't afford to subscribe to the platform due to its exorbitant costs, or for many other reasons. I find it truly unfair to so many people who were so excited to see the series and now find themselves enormously disappointed. Don't be surprised if illegal streaming sites mushroom if you behave this way.

Great episode as usual, but could someone who's already read the novel spoil the culprit for me? Please... I'm too curious, haha. Also, what does that statement King's father made mean, "cutting up a chicken for a monkey?" I've personally never heard it. Anyway, King's father is a horrible person, so I'm not surprised his son turned into a monster too, even though I have a feeling he's basically a good person. I felt sorry for him when he tried to call Singha; how lonely. Anyway, can anyone tell me what the heck happened to Singha's sister? And why did his mother leave home?
On Goddess Bless You from Death Dec 6, 2025
Guys, I've noticed a lot of animosity towards King's character. There's absolutely no justification for his behavior, he ultimately behaved badly with Singha and he certainly has no qualms about falsely accusing people who, until proven otherwise, are innocent, but in my opinion the paternal element should also be given considerable consideration. It's inevitable to want to appear efficient and competent, especially when you have so much pressure and expectation on your shoulders. On one hand, I understand it because I had a very similar father. He always wanted me to do what he said, and woe betide anyone who objected or expressed a contrary opinion, not to mention what happened if you didn't do what he wanted: he'd turn into a hyena. For a long time, he made me live in a climate of terror, and recently I've managed to stop indulging him. In conclusion: the character is undoubtedly not likeable and certainly hasn't evolved as a person, but you should feel more pity for him than anything else.

Guys, I'm watching this series with my boyfriend and we're really enjoying it, I have to say. The photography and special effects are incredible, the girl who plays the ghost is brilliant, I almost jumped out of my seat when she attacked that policeman! As for the couples... well... hahaha, I have something to say. Honestly, I don't really like them. Lack of psychological characterization, excessive saccharineness, slow and repetitive pacing, stilted dialogue, and cloying atmospheres. Personally, I would have preferred something completely different. Anyway, everything was beautiful. See you next time!

I love this show, but I am not feeling Thup and Singha's chemistry yet.. I felt in Pitbabe, but in this not yet.I…
Instead, you should feel absolutely free to express your opinion. This is a democratic platform. Being literally afraid to express your opinion simply because it doesn't reflect the majority opinion is absurd, and I personally strongly advise you not to bother. From what I've seen, some people are really overreacting and even willing to offend you in your private life. This says more about them than it does about you. I also don't like Thup and Singha together, and this obviously doesn't concern the actors; simply, given the way the story was structured, Thup's character is, in my opinion, useless, whiny, and lacks much psychological depth. I don't perceive any chemistry between them, and I would have preferred to see Pavel paired with another actor. Nonetheless, the story is very interesting and I'm enjoying it a lot.
