China is very strict w/ their rules/laws regulations it's just the way it has been over there we have no choice but to be patient. Most projects take at least a year depending on the genre also bc of censorship they have go thru every single episode making sure there is no inappropriate scenes that they have to cut out on screen, even if it passes review & gets a distribution license the network won't air it right away since they broadcast other dramas too. They have to plan an investment promotional event for the cast & figure out a monthly time slot whenever they decide to air it.
