I was fooled by the recommendation, this has NOTHING in common with Stairway To Heaven.

This is 50 eps long drama! Heck even 16 eps long drama can drag!! But SFD never did drag! There isn’t a scene that I would drop from the whole 50 eps!! This is mission impossible I have no idea how the writers pulled it off.

SFD isn’t just a historical drama it is also emotional one. You can definitely relate to the characters and situations because it’s life back then and life now. When you think of it, there isn’t really many differences in politics and power or even humans, which is why you can relate to everything and feel what the characters are feeling, their dreams, ambition and hopes. The chemistry between the actors is beyond words specially the guys. It was tough to have one favorite character here, more like mission impossible.

ACTING!! With every ep I’m left “speechless”. It will be damn hard for me now to separate those 6 actors from their 6 dragons!! Specially Yoo Ah In! All the cast did an outstanding, unforgettable everlasting performance I loved them all BUT hands down YAI (Yi Bang Won) OWNS the show!! He carried the whole show and that is damn impressive considering that his costars are outshining and outstanding in their own way, you’d have to be a human with SUPER POWERS to outshine among those racing horses!!

SFD gets a 10 without any hesitation!! The cast, the crew had to film the whole thing during the harshest times where temperature reached below -20 and the cold weather in Korea isn't normal it's painful on the face and cracks your bones. Historical dramas are different they are filmed in totally wide-open areas (no buildings no people no heating systems). Not only that, they have to wear those traditional clothes which doesn't do their bodies any good (it's as if they are walking totally naked in that weather even if they did wear something underneath). Take it from someone who faced this weather more than once; it is UNBEARABLE and painful as hell. (I don't know if anyone noticed their lips they are clear evidence).

@NewKDramaAddict nothing wrong with acting at all but I saw many people rating this drama 5 and calling the acting here horrible which is sad really, people need to differentiate between not liking a plot and not liking the acting performance. In Local Hero case there is absolutely nothing lacking "acting wise".

Skim watching isn't really watching, I'm surprised at how proudly people are saying they've skipped scenes -_-

Banning actors for playing "characters" in drama? not because you don't like their acting, you don't like their character so might as well blacklist the actors? smh

And those same people are crying about negative comments or criticism comments on DOTS's page lol. Comments are welcomed be it negative or positive but it should be about the drama not comparison between dramas.

I don’t think there has been or that there will be a drama like Giant. The history, the atmosphere, the OST…etc is EPIC CLASSIC. That time zone may have been used before in dramas but not in this way not in the way Giant have presented it. The production quality for this drama surpasses any other drama I’ve seen, I’m overwhelmed at how they managed to create all that. I have never seen a drama go through all that effort. Giant took me to a journey into the 70s where I felt I was living it with the characters not just watching it. Everything fascinated me about this drama there is nothing to dislike here.

The fact that it is filled with clichés but can still be outstanding means something doesn’t it? I loved everything about it. The first 10 eps when it was the kids’ time, let me just say it’s the best I’ve ever seen in drama land (I will never forget those kids a truly touchful memorable moments).

The story is top notch classy it felt like reading a novel, wonderful writing, excellent memorable characters, perfect combination of family, romance, loyalty, politics, business, greed, ambition, revenge…etc. This is the best 60 hours I’ve spent on drama, it took me 5 years to pick it up but it’s better late than never. I want to give applause *claps claps* to every person who watched and finished Giant; bravo guys you are true drama fans picking up this drama just proves what kind of a drama watcher you really are I’m very happy to join you guys on that :’)

I can’t really get into ”acting” because then I’ll have to mention every name listed in this drama (this is one drama that combined every outstanding actor out there). There is nothing I can say here, after all what makes Giant “Giant” is that staller cast.

Wow there are people who actually rated Signal "1"? I mean I never comment on any other drama for getting rated "1" I'm guilty myself and I would understand somehow somewhere something wasn't right but... Signal?... it's so hard for me to grasp that...

It's not the best drama but not the worst I didn't think it was waste of time and that's what matters.

Uee has always been doing good and unlike other actors she is actually improving not staying the same she gets respect from me for that, I respect those who work on themselves :)

If you will run by this ridiculous concept then no one should express any negative comment about any drama out there because it might mean something special to others. This is just ridiculous. Constructive criticism is welcomed anywhere. Praising a drama in this way "OMG that ending!!!!!" "OMG SJK's dreamy face" "Uniforms hot guys everywhere... this sort of praising is actually mood ruining and offers nothing about the drama but you don't see people complaining about that. If it is selfish to express negativity then it is selfish to express positivity it goes both ways I'm not sure what are you trying to say here but if negative comments ruin your mood don't read them don't ask people not to write them you can ask them why they think so but you can't tell them don't write your thoughts.

A drama's page isn't for positive loving comments only, those who dislike it have the right to write their thoughts as well... You praising the drama isn't ruining my mood why should me criticising it ruins yours? So this page is only for the fans? I can understand if I brought another drama's name on this page and started comparing then yes that would be pointless but I'm solely expressing my thought on this drama so I have all the right to do so just because the majority like it doesn't mean I should keep it to myself. You can choose not to read. Whether I hated the drama because I disliked it or because it's overhyped it is really up to me, my reasons are mine after all.

Proud to be "different". Just because I'm different doesn't make my opinion less important or worthless. Minority do matter.

As for Nam Jung Ki I totally understand him, I know people like him and I understand... frustrating or not people in the end choose to deal with things the way they feel more comfortable be it avoiding or confronting.
