I really dont like Jang Na Ra... idk why she annoys me that much. I had to drop I Remember You and School 2013…
I actually think this is the only drama I've seen her act well, usually she's a poker face. I don't like the drama but I think she is showing expressions here at least.
Yes I know how this feels! Take a look at my favourite drama list, three dramas are totally not appreciated here on MDL. I'm not going to say the world because actually the world appreciated WS and STH! They are to this moment the most popular the most remembered and most loved and appreciated by the whole world. After all they are what started the whole Hlkyuwave. I feel sad that people here would rate them 4-7/10 but I learned to turn a deaf ear to MDL's ratings and look at the true facts only. Facts are these two are classics and have been living on for a decade and will continue to do so, no drama of recent times will ever live the people's memories like these. This is enough consoling to me :)
Also Bubblegum belongs to this list, a very under appreciated drama here.
Thanks for the article I enjoyed Prosecutor Princess and My Heart Twinkle Twinkle.
GO HYE RIM I LOVE YOU GIRL!! Omg the smartest, coolest, wittiest and best kick @ss female character I have ever seen in K dramaland!! You go girl!! ε=ε=(ง ˃̶͈̀ᗨ˂̶͈́)۶ ⤴︎
I paused everything on my list, slept less to watch as much as I can in my tight time. ABSOLUTELY LOVING THIS DRAMA!!
Favorite Actor: Byun Yo Han
Favourite Character: Lee Bang Ji
All belongs to Byun Yo Han!! :D
Now that I've said my "personal favourite", next comes my objective view on the cast and characters:
I think Yi Bang Won earned the crown!! From the very first ep my opinion hasn't changed. Though (my) favourite character is Lee Bang Ji but I must say the best character in the drama is Yoo Ah In's character. The reason is because I could see through them all from the first ep I can see through all of them except Yi Bang Won!! I couldn't read him, I could not predict him, I couldn't understand him fully, I couldn't see through him... he is the most complex the most interesting and intriguing character on the show! Hands down YAI NAILED IT!! No matter how much I feel deeply for BYH I have to say this objectively. YAI's character is the hardest of them all and the man nailed the hell out of it!! Like a pro!! I'm in ep 40 and I still can't see through him!! His eyes the way he talks his voice his smirk... there were scenes where I had to pause and just look at his facial expressions! How was he able to do that? He gave so much to his character, even though the character is clearly written so well it wouldn't have been the way it is if YAI wasn't the one to preform it. I just can't take it any other way it's like he is meant for the role!! And there was those time where he is just a transparent human being (his scenes with Boon Yi). EXCELLENT actor I just had to praise him solo.
Excellent review Nick!! I agree with every word except that NGM out-shined YSH, for me one of the reasons which makes this drama special is the fact that nobody out-shined anyone among the 3 (YSH, PSW & NGM). They were all equally bright.
"Happy people running in corn fields with their hair untagled...? o.O" haha A+ for saying that.
Shin Se Kyung has to stop whispering!! Can't she talk like a normal human being? I'm so sick of this :((
@blg completely agree she is falling way behind!! I had no problems with her in The Girl Who Sees Scents she was just "average". Here I understood why everyone complained about her acting skills, when given something as strong as SFD she is very lacking.
Am I the only one who finds the romance unnecessary? I think of In Ah more as a friend to Jin Woo than a possible…
It doesn't always have to be necessary, though I don't care about the romance but doesn't have to be necessary to be there. As long as it did not distract the story I didn't mind it because they were just glimpses. I think the writer was trying to give JW love and happiness, that he isn't alone in this world. Someone is there loving him and wants to be with him. That's how I saw it.
Idk if it's just me but I find like how the lgbt community was portrayed in the earlier episode. It made them…
Says who what's true and what's not? I'm someone who comes from region where people suffer all their life because of media and news which are always controlled and fabricated. Don't just take what you see on the surface there are many things that us as "outsiders" don't know and can't know because we are not part of that place. I'm just speaking in general not commenting on the issue.
Hong Bin looks much better in his new hair style. It's a struggle to finish this drama lol everything is bad I have no idea why I'm watching I'm not a fan of any of the cast.
1) I hope people who judged In Ha now understands her better, if not then that's unfortunate really. I'm glad I never judged her.
2) Only In Ha understood YJ from the beginning.
3) Congratulations to those who said Seol and YJ are similar.
4) Seol finally understands that she is not the only one who is having hard time, and that she shouldn't always be blaming others she needs to look at her actions too. (I'm loving this)
5) In Ho breaks my heart.
6) I symphasis with YJ I feel bad for him but I don't know if I can find it in my heart to forgive him for what he did to In Ho. NO MATTER how insensitive In Ho was YJ should have confronted him face to face like a DECENT human being. I simply can't justify what he did and I don't care how many people attack me for saying this. Lol
7) Finally we get to see YJ sincerity and hidden feelings.
8) I feel very very bad for actor Ji Yoon Ho for getting beaten that much on ep. 11!! Omg I really feel very bad I'm not joking.. his face all swollen and it wasn't fake he really got beaten and slapped.
Finally I demand happiness for In Ho and In Ha please.
So I didn't think I would say this, because this has such a high rating and good comments, but... I am on episode…
Well if you are at ep 6 and you still find this drama boring then I doubt this will change, it just means it's not your cup of tea.
As for me I loved this drama very much, it's not your average rom-com it has melodrama. I loved the character development very much it's one of the best character development I've witnessed in K drama. Jung Kyung Ho's performance and character and story were very interesting to me :)
Also Bubblegum belongs to this list, a very under appreciated drama here.

P.S. Those kisses... ٩(♡ε♡ )۶

"When a person is all used up, one should throw that person away"
That scene killed me. Very smart move from the writer and well played by NGM.
