LOL that's the only thing that pissed me of in MQ (why everyone was slapping her even guys and what's worse a guy that loves her I was like WTH !!) but other than that the drama was good I think you should give it a 2nd chance.
Yeah I know Missing You is totally melo that's why I postponing it for now I'm just not in the mood >_<

No MQ isn't heavy at all that's why I liked it, for the 1st time I wasn't depressed or angry or totally pissed off watching a melodrama... it had everything romance, family, jealousy, revenge, betrayal, humor...etc. I loved the twists and turns the story unfolds in a good way so yes I recommend it.

Arang and The Magistrate had high potentials but it turned out to be a complete disappointment imo...
Panda and Hedgehog is cute and very light, the story have no depth but it's watchable specially if your in the mood for something like Heartstrings or Flower Boy Ramyun Shop

I enjoyed May Queen very much it was a good melo, not totally sad it had humor, romance, dreams, ambitions...etc. for me it wasn't draggy even though it had more episodes I think it was good. You haven't seen it?

I just finished a Korean Movie which was GREAT if you don't mind that it's not romantic then I recommend it... Blind for Yoo Seung Hoo I really liked it great performance.

hahaha Yoon Eun Hye is the only actress that I've seen who'd receive such a steamy kisses it wasn't just with Gong Yoo's :P
You haven't seen Rain's kisses? I think you should watch (A Love To Kill for Rain XD) what about Park Shi Hoo? (not in The Princess Man though) in Queen of Reversals and Prosecutor Princess totally HOT XD

I just finished watching Blind movie for Yoo Seung Hoo it was great if you haven't seen it then I recommend it ^_^

I'm totally going to watch Flower Boy Next Door it's Yoon Shi Yoon and Park Shin Hye after all XD

You think MQ is draggy? I didn't I thought it was really good and kept me interested all the way I like the story the twists and turns the characters the music... everything it was a good melo mixed with humor and romance (but the romance is the last thing I liked in MQ it's wasn't the best).

Hmmm Panda I only watched it cus I'm finally in the mood for something cute and light and simple so I thought I should give it a try. It's not great but it's refreshing a good break from melos however it gets boring but it's watchable *I think*... the only problem is that there is no depth in the story.

You should definitely watch this drama, it's not a drama that you can skip :)
This drama is one of the best and it was a HUGE hit when it aired even though the cast were all new, it received the highest TV ratings (50%) this number doesn't happen too often in a drama world. This kind of ratings it happens once every 5 or 10 years in Korea so it a BIG DEAL. The story, the acting, the music, everything was EPIC and wonderful there is nothing wrong with this drama it was perfectly done and after King of Baking many dramas are trying to copy the same style of KOB. When this drama aired "Bread" demands increased tremendously in Korea and the reason was this drama so yes you should definitely watch it. Until now no drama has reached 50% TV ratings don't miss out on it.
