Wait! Whaat!! I beg to disagree!

I tell you!! Started this drama while waiting for the remaining episodes of Ms Cupid in love to drop - a little disappointed by how childish that show is but having no choice but to finish it since I've already watch up to the 16th episode I might add - noticed it's the about same rating, can't understand why 'cos this one os SOOOO much better!!

This is the first time EVER that I'm watching an ongoing drama, I usually wait for it to finish then binge but my! my! started episode one and couldn't stop and have been hooked since! The comedic timing is so on point! Luurvving the show!

Rubbish!! I bought his cool!! besides who watches these dramas for 'realistic!' :O)

Absolutely delightful little drama!! It takes the phrase "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach' to another level! :O)
Took a while to get to it 'cos I kept postponing to watch something else, mostly because of the comments on here but so glad I finally got to it!
I think if ML had been more of the 'Idol' look it would have been more popular. I personally think he did an absolutely perfect job of the role! his charisma was through the roof! I've always preferred older men and my younger self would have definitely fallen for this one so don't get the comments about not buying the age gap. That was part of the plot!
Even the brother part had its part to play so again, I disagree with comments saying it was irrelevant and I love the way it played out in the end.
The only comment I have is how they cut out all the food-stuff later, good for people that found it tedious I guess and they dragged that first kiss out for so long I stopped expecting it but all in all, I binged this in two days during the work week! that's a testament to how much I loved it.

Watching 'Dating in the Kitchen' while I'm waiting for the rest of the episodes to drop and I cannot believe they have the same rating!! C'mon people!! How??? Just because the other guy is not as sweet looking as the ones here?

Wow! sweetie! I understood what she meant from her comment - This drama cannot be compared to YAMG! but even if she was saying she personally didn't like YAMG, (and I'm sure you'll find some people out there who didn't like it) everyone is entitled to their opinion. But hey! I love your passion!!

I actually preferred the 2nd ML looks here. It was a tough choice but there's something about his lips.... they're both gorgeous but if I had to choose, I'd go with the 2nd guy. Plus I was rooting for him even if I know it won't happen

It's definitely killing some of my brain cells that's for sure!! Why am I still watching??!!!!

Gotta admit this is way too childish for me. I'm committed, I've gone too far now and have to see it to the end t but I'm on episode 14 and there's been nothing in the way of character development for any of the characters as far as I'm concerned. It's got all the usual c-drama toupes which I normally don't mind so much but for some reason which is just making my eyes roll so much! Nah man! Too many things wrong here...it is just super childish..🙄 cannot believe this is rated over 8 points! Doesn't feel like a 2022 drama.

I thought it was a nice filler drama. I like the affection in the couples once they got together. I dislike how many trips were necessary to move the story along...I thought the whole going to study for 3 months story arch was totally unnecessary and just there to help stretch it to the 25 episodes. And the FL wardrobe!! for a fashion designer was pretty hit and miss! She'd wear a gorgeous dress to go to work in her studio then wear a tee shirt to go out with the hubby.
The ending was pretty predictable but nevertheless still satisfying
I'd have given it a 7 but the affection is just so cute and none of that annoying fake kissing malarkey, so I added 1 and made it 8. Plus honorary mention of grandma and ML's mama! Loved them, in fact loved all the mamas!

T'was aight I guess. I liked the ML but found FL a little annoying, just a little. She's really cute though and she played her role convincingly. It was cute and fluffy but a tad childish too. Liked the side couples too!

I actually started watching this drama based on your comment here comparing both. Seeing as Goblin is a favourite of mine, I immediately put this Drama on my to watch list.
So I went for the romance and stayed for the thriller, the fabulous twists, the outstanding cinematography and just downright good acting.
So on the one hand I also don't agree with this comparison, I think they are worlds apart in genre! on the other hand, I'm glad for the comparison 'cos it got me to watch such a brilliant show!
I've also got a new favourite bad guy! he was such a good bad guy, I found myself secretly rooting for him

Ah I see...I don't understand Chinese at all so I guess that's why it didn't spoil it for me. Just going with the angry tone and the subtitles and it just gels :O) Ironic isn't it? an instance where understanding takes away from the performance.

Was surprised at how much I like this. It's great if you're looking for something not too heavy with just the right amount of comedy. As stated in the preceding comments, you can see it didn't have as high a budget as other dramas but it still came out beautiful.

The costumes, the set/scenery, the fights, all so beautifully done 'chef kiss'! Most times, when watching, one gets distracted by one or more of these when they are badly done, because this was all done so well, I could stay with the story. Loved it!!! A side note is it just me that thought the King kinda outshone the ML for me, his performance was outstanding!!

I was thoroughly entertained. Loved the way they portrayed the 'leashes' aspect of things, to be honest, there's nothing about this I didn't like...just well done all around!

This drama caused my blood pressure to increase for sure! The blatant lying manipulation by people was awe-inspiring. I can not even begin to imagine what it would have been like to live in such a society. Shows the women really controlled things. I actually liked the story from the start, young Ming Lan did a fabulous job too...just a really good story from start to finish

The hair and the dressing. I'd really like to understand what they were going for with that look cos everybody else dressed ok.
