I watched this immediately after watching the prequel - Eternal Love - Hard to say which one I prefer, I adored both of them equally. I think the Leads did a fantastic job! I love the fact that both stories support each other while standing on their own. This has really set the bar high now...both of them are the first Fantasy CDramas I've watched and it's going to be hard to watch normal dramas for while now- going to be lost in fantasy land for a while...recommendations would be highly welcome p l e a s e!!!

One fun observation ...isn't it funny that when the women claimed to be in love with whoever (depending on where you are in the story) they were willing to carry out all sorts of manipulative actions to get him but when it was reversed, the man typically sacrifices to make sure the person they love is happy??? The writer really giving us women a bad rap :O)

Can't remember when last I was this enthralled! Absolutely enjoyed this. Tis true the number of episodes put me off at first but the glowing references made me take the leap and I am ever so glad I did! This is the first Fantasy CDrama I have seen and the 58 episodes flew past...I binged this and the sister story Eternal love of Dream (which is also 56 episodes) in just over a week (while holding down my 9-5job!!!) so you betcha it's been 8 days of long nights but I have been living in the wonderful world created here...cannot gush enough about it.

I admit...I cried, it caught me unawares how much I cried, even just writing this review days later and I'm tearing up...you know it's a good movie when it has that effect on you . Nuff said!

Aand I'm back to say they didn't lie! For once the make out scenes were believable...the story line sounded far fetched but they pulled it off! I must admit the 2nd couple bits was a bit hard for me to watch so a lot of skipping was done around thier scenes. Apart from that...loved it!

Not a bed way to spend 2hrs...the acting is on point, the storyline is okay, I do wish it had a more hopeful ending. I don't agree that the ending was inevitable

Maybe it's cos I've just watched a few really good dramas back to back but for me this was meh! Wasn't terrible but the plot just felt too ott for me.

As a professed hater of 'fish' kisses, I am watching this on the realistic kisses comments alone! I'll be back to give my verdict on the kisses and the drama as a whole! :O)

Haven't seen any of the other versions and for anyone looking for a review as a stand-alone...I'd say the 8points given on here as at the time of this comment is pretty accurate. It is a not bad drama, a little annoying as issues could have been easily sorted with some communication. If that sort of storyline doesn't bother you then you'll enjoy it...I find it tedious so skipped a good chunk of this.

Can't believe I delayed watching this so long...t'was the 40 episodes paired with the talk of earthquake and rescue...I assumed it was going to be a medical drama with lots of sad scenes. IT IS NOT!! Please watch! It's actually more of an advertisement of the Chinese Special police but in a good way :O) There's more relationship cuteness than hospital and police stuff so if any of that is holding you back, fear not, start watching immediately! This is a really good one!
