Truthfully, it was a happy ending for him, he had a heart condition and was going to die young anyway, this way he didn't get his short life cut even shorter and he ended up spending his last days with his love who looked after him until the end and most importantly, an innocent person didn't end up getting killed just for a title. It's bittersweet but not sad as they make it out.
This got my highest score in a good long while. The twists, the intertwining of the threads in the story, the lesson the watcher gets to while journeying with the protagonist, are all so elegantly done! HATS OFF!!! I watched this in one sitting!

I totally agree about Miles! I watched this after Only for Love where he was 2L there but here, was he smoking or what!! He's got my best kisser trophy at the moment.
I scored this high because I don't want the rating here to discourage others from watching. I hate that they keep comparing it to OSN just cos of one scene that was copied. If I hadn't watched it already, I'd leave with the impression it was an inferior rip-off! It's not. It's its own stand-alone story worthy of being judged on its own merit.
We get enough air-head FL, unrealistically arrogant ML stories that we REALLY should big up these sorts of dramas just so we can enjoy more mature stuff people!!!!!
I enjoyed it, I didn't have to fast forward through any of the usual immature dribble and I thought both Leads did a fabulous job! 9 from me, just because!
Yeeeaah...I dunno about this one hey!! When so many people die, it kind of kills the vibe for me. Interesting but not very satisfying ending for me I'm afraid. Would have scored this a lot higher otherwise. My ideal ending is everyone gathering for a happy meal at the end of the adventure, this was not it!
I love that they didn't make this unnecessarily long with extra filler episodes. I wasn't expecting much but the story pulled me in. As usual, I loved the historical parts more. I really loved this, for its unapologetic show your real feelingness. And I think it’s safe to say this is now top of my leaderboard for Main Leads kisses and realistic, believable ones at that! And favourite character is little sis in law. I daresay this is a first, that we have such a darling little sister that’s not a jealous spoilt brat, my favourite character she was and both parents, especially the ML’s must get a mention.

You know for me, LYF, I kept catching myself thinking “this acting is phenomenal “ I didn’t agree with all the storyline decisions but the performances were just so on point for me, I watched purely for that. Very similar with LJTY, in fact I preferred the 2nd leads’ storyline just for how intriguing it was. Wasn’t a fan of the ending but the acting, the costumes, the fight scenes, the twists in the storyline were superlative. But as was stated, each to his own hey! Lemme not take attention from this one which is powerful in its own right.
