Yes, The sleeping dragon is the original form of Ming Yue. It can also be seen from the drama that the dragon is holding tightly onto a clam shell, which is Sang Jiu. TTJ and YXW entered the dream in order to relive the life of SJ and MY. Also, a sad fact, this is because MY cannot forget SJ so he keeps on dreaming about her. MY and SJ was real people in the past, but not the past life of TTJ and YXW/LSS. Hope this helps for those that are confused.

Yes, it really is fast paced. They cut out a lot of scenes and managed to fit the storyline in just 40 episodes. Even if each episode is already extended, there is still a lot of scenes that have been cut out. This is because in China, there is a new regulation where dramas nowadays can't have too long episodes. Also, the novel is very very long that's why they need to make it fast since it is only for 40 episodes. Normally, storylines like this have 50+ episodes in the past. Hope my explanation helps

Yup, some people aren't just used to it. I've been watching Esther Yu since her trainee days and I've gotten used to it. I even think that it is very suitable for her character in LBFD.

Yes, at first she protects him and saves him from dying because she has a mission to destroy his evil bone. But in the later episodes, it will be shown that YXW/LSS will save him again but it is already because of love. She will gradually fall in love with him.
