Yes absolutely. They way they tried to push their newest cash cow onto the scene using her clout and yet, they don't acknowledge her at all. Now they come running back to her like a jilted lover. Shame on them. Karma will get back hard. I am looking forward to it. She's doing dramas she wants and is working at her own pace.

Right. You know what I think it is, these platforms are starting to give her more care because she's commercially a lot more viable than any other on the scene coupled with the fact that she is constantly getting praises from the Chinese government. Which tbh should've been the treatment from the onset. Additionally, Reba isn't a pushover. She didnt pick up scripts for the longest time because of disputes with Jaywalk because she chose to stand on business and principles! Reba becoming such a hot commodity with all these endorsement and international attention, people are now trying to capitalise on her success but I know she will make the right choice for her!

Fingers crossed because Tencent is a hit and miss sometimes. If this was IQIYI, I might be more receptive but they are STILL better than Youku for sure. He's a fabulous actor and has a good eye for scripts so I know they will mesh well.

That's sweet and I agree with not being fussed about her having more brand events than dramas. People don't release that in many cases, brand deals are more lucrative than some drama roles to the point where actors get paid more to sponsor a brand or product. Even Hollywood actors get paid more from brand deal than some of their film deals. It's also a wonderful opportunity to maintain a positive and influential presence in such a flimsy industry that is fast paced. I just hope she has the autonomy to really choose the projects that are fulfilling for her. I hope her dream of being in a big budget film comes soon.
